  • One thing you guys could help is to gauge the game's performance. It usually runs pretty smooth on a variety of hardwares, but we already found some slowdowns with some weaker GPUs we tested. Let us know if you find out that the game can't run at full speed and at what hardware. Thanks.

    Runs perfectly smooth on;

    Athlon X2 4400

    2.5gb ram

    Zotac ION 512mb DDR3*

*The ION is an Nvidia card (I only have a pci-e 1.0 slot so my options were quite slim) and is somewhere between a Radeon 9800 and a Geforce 6800 in performance.

Anyway... nice atmosphere, and I like the game mechanic with the lights.

  • The official response by Sandy Duncan basically says copyright prevents you copying any Game Maker software and that decompilation of YoYo Games software is also illegal. Legal threats are made.

Wasn't he on "The Hogan Family"?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Minecraft Beta to be released December 20th

    http://notch.tumblr.com/post/2175441966/minecraft-beta-december-20-2010

Looks like you only have 9 more days to purchase Minecraft and still be guaranteed free updates. Anybody who buys AFTER the 20th might end up having to pay for new additions to the game (you'll still get bug fixes for free).

Lots of complaints so far with the news but it's a legal issue, so it looks like there isn't much that can be done. Just get it before the 20th, then?

  • How do you get the cloud to move?

    Right click.

This game gets Roland Emerich's seal of approval.

  • It looks good at that size, so it should look pretty seamless when scaled down.

(is it modeled after the F15, or the Mig 29?)

  • Tokinsom

    Woo!

Your mini-metroid game is easily my most anticipated Construct title. Good luck!

  • The game controls well but I found myself just rushing past most of the enemies rather than trying to kill them. I took less damage that way.

I'm not familiar with the Gunner series so I'm just going to say that this is an average platformer so far. It's not bad... it just doesn't really stand out much(the ability to aim up is a nice addition).

You're off to a good start, though. I guess if I had played any of the previous Gunner titles I could give you better feedback.

  • Thanks for the new link.

Nice use of particles, and I like the look of the monsters (the swirling face of the stationary monsters is a nice touch). The jumps are unforgiving but it isn't unfairly difficult.

    Keep up the good work!

  • I'm giving you bonus points for having the naughtiest .exe name for a Construct game yet.

  • I clicked your Download link and it took me to an "ifolder.ru" site, but I can't figure out what I need to click on to actually download it from there.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with your first language...

  • This .cap file is very basic but it should answer your question.
