    i choose nothing at all. buy or subscription i dont like the methods of scirra anymore. they dont respect their supporters. all the other companies hear their buyers and do their best to please them or they just tried to. this engine with the multiplatform export failure and the stubborn devs about native want to serve something old for new again. its not the end of the world. there are alternatives also. if i want to make html5 games i got c2 which feels the same like c2.5 ...i mean c3.

    im still waiting for proper and working multiple lights in parallax btw. thats my last post in the forum and im sorry if with some of you have some not so civil conversations. best of luck to all

  • where it goes all the happiness about c3? please tell me this is a big bad joke.

    when gms 2 announcement began, yoyo give some very fancy videos about image editors, interface, drag n drop, compatibility, tilemaps, when clickteam starts the campaing of fusion 3 they did something similar (not so fancy as yoyo but anyway) and continue to give infos every monday for some months now and you've got the feeling that both of these softwares will indeed evolving to something more powerfull than before and more user friendly.

    on the other hand scirra throw a site of construct 3 for a very long period they dont mention nothing about it only that they worked very hard on it and when the day came the news was the pricing model and then compatibility and portability. it feels the same as C2. marketing failure and an attempt to resell an old product again with some changes that so far are not that obvious except that it run on browser and mobile devices.

    From my point of view, multiplatform support was definitely one of those 3-4 major things the community was asking us for.

    from my point of view you pretend that you don't understand thats alright construct is not the only game maker out there. your decision your risk your product not mine

    I do remember everyone talking similarly about our decision to export to HTML5 only being a catastrophic and short sighted decision but it worked out fine. We're taking a risk here we know, but we're confident with out decisions so far. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

    not so fine when your first page games and others went to unity for completing the projects. lets say the next penelope for example. you made a great prototyping tool i admit it though but still prototyping.

    when sprite A---- gives money for construct 3 every year----- then catastrophic behavior enabled

    when catastrophic behaviour enabled------sprite A delete

    spark engine has not a bigger team behind it. i think only Aris the programmer is in charge with the engine (like Ashley) the other two are for marketing and ui design. and spark engine's site is down for 2 weeks now. Imho release date of spark will take for sure 1+ years more.

    late 2019? wasteland 3 release date is for late 2019. if c3 release date is '19 imagine how much pages this post will have...i think because of gms 2 and fusion 3 release dates mid and late '19 construct 3 will come around this time no later.

    I don't think a new editor would be a must have since there are very powerful and affordable graphics software on the market. However I'd be interested in some improvements there regarding animation preview, etc..

    That mail made me feel like it's Christmas again! I can't wait to read more news about C3. The new logo looks great, it's modern and minimalistic (and I hope it refers to the colours of the new interface).

    who cares about the logo for sure its the last thing i care about. even if it was just a 1bit image with the C its the same for me if C3 is stronger and have (got to check my notes again) well 1)better lighting system with normal/bump maps, 2) ferr2d like (unity asset store) plugin, animated tiles, auto tiling, an awesome image editor like gms 2 (i'm so jealous..) and 1 click export to platforms.

  • X3M is there any chance to make in a document detailed descriptions of every behaviour/plugins of babylon and also some tutorials with 2 or 3 game genres to see how to use the plugin? skeleton animations, lights, spawning objects, physics to name some preffered tuts about. is a very good plugin but it needs some documentation asap. dont have enough time and at the end cant guess how to use and what every behaviour/plugin does. templates are good but i think with some tuts you will promote it better and make our lifes easier.
