    *Looking at Cricket 3D on google* No, sorry you cannot create something like that, however you can do a fake 3D version of it using sprites instead of models, using the 3D box/object for the background and sprites for the 2D objects and ball and whatever else, Construct's power on 3D is very limited, so far you cannot even make an animated 3D model in Construct but it excels in 2D however.

  • ZoniK 4 isn't submitted on yoyogames no, however this project has been abandoned for another project which uses my very own drawn sprites, I got sick and tired of making ZoniK after all and decided to make my own games with my own graphics from sprites to tiles, my graphics may not be the best but I hope the gameplay and story of the new project make up for it.

    It will be a horror game, a platformer horror game and I'm currently drawing graphics for it, it's current name is Stygiophobia but so far for it nothing is shown, it's just started and am not working on it everyday either, I just hope I get somewhere where I release a demo or some screenshots soon, don't ask when tough.

  • I have to agree with Raymond here, I did see post's myself of what he pointed, both on this forum and other forums (some even worse, like SRB2 forums and Cubeengine forums) but yes I do agree with your points Raymond, acting like a smartass to the person asking for help would achieve nothing and it's best if you shut up if you have nothing positive/constructive to say.

    Except Rayman 1, 2 and 3 were not episodic, they're ruining a franchise, actually now as I think about it, it was ruined ever since Rayman raving rabbids.

  • I don't have a drawing tablet but I use Gimp but for those who own a tablet is it good to make your own sprite sheets and your own character sprites?

    Also does Gimp supports a tablet? or you cannot use a drawing tablet for Gimp?

  • the .obj file doesn't seem to work, whenever I tried using it Construct crashed, I downloaded an ak47 model of an .obj from this site.

    and whenever I put the model path in the 3D object .obj model path my game crashes, is it because it uses too many polygons? either way I don't have time to test it more for now so this is only a small test I made and I got crashes.

    Also as Porlo said I get Temp.exe stopped working on Vista whenever I added the shadow caster.

  • If anything, I expect simple 3D games will be available to create on Construct, something simple such as a 3D platformer like the Pandemonium games

    But I don't expect there will be animated models anytime soon or ever for Construct 1 or 2, I hope you will still load non animated models to create a landscape for 3D maps that are not just cubes using 3D Box but the objects like player, enemy or item and everything else will be a sprite, am I asking too much? I've always wanted to create a 3D platformer but due to I have no knowledge of programming I can't create a 3D engine, let alone a basic 2D game with programming.

    there will still be some animated things in 3D however like a door/floating platforms that slides up or down or left or right based on the X/Y/Z axis configured trough the events.

  • This is quite helpful but what if I want to do tap a button to slash similar to Zero in Megaman X and Zero series? moreover doing combos like tap 1 for a simple slash, tap twice to do a slash and a different slash as long as the first slash animation is playing until 3 slashes, would like to know that, also how do I make it so that the sword does damage when it hits something and not get hurt yourself in the process? I presume doing a hitbox but the difficulty is that the sword is part of the main sprite making it so you also get damaged if you hit an enemy with your sword, is there a way to fix this? do I need to make several hitboxes or so to make proper melee combat?
