    StaticCloud I had real problems with v-sync and jank issues with my game on steam when it was exported with NW11.5 but now it runs really smooth on all test computers using NW12 + the modified test greenworks plugin by MadSpy.

    No jank issues at all. Runs like it should and achievements are being activated by users now None of my beta testers have had any issues with performance and there are many beta testers atm.

    Wasn't the jank issues fixed with chromium 41 which NW12 is based of? I Might be wrong though.

    Ashley Would be awesome if we could update the plugin with MadSpy's update so we can fix our steam games ASAP

    I have tried the greenwork update by MadSpy now. And it works like a charm!

    I now have achievements, overlay, full gamepad support and no lag at all with NW12 and madspy's modified greenworks 0.4 plugin.

    Has anyone got this to work with NW above 10.5? I can't make it work. I thought I had fixed it but no. I only get black screen when using a NW version above 10.5 and greenworks 0.4

    I can't use nw10.5 becuse it doesn't support reconnecting gamepads and my game is on steam and I really need to add achievements :/

    immortalx Yes it's a hard game. I love games like dark souls so I understand that hard games isn't for everyone. But the main concept of the game is the local multiplayer

  • After almost a year of development the game is now finally released on Steam. And even though it's only early access the relief of actually having a game on Steam is undescribable. It has been the goal ever since a quit my day job to develop games full time. So hopefully I'll be able to continue the work from here and make the game as fun as possible.

    Kenthria All you need after setting up achievements in steam is the greenworks plugin which tells steam what achievement to unlock and then steam activates it for only that user and shows the achievement overlay to that player. So steam handles everything as long as your game can communicate with the steam client when to unlock achievements.

    I agree with StaticCloud and digitalsoapbox More and more C2 users are making games good enough for steam and it would be much easier if we all knew that the steam support is up to date for future projects as well So for that I would also be willing to contribute.

    What are you doing wrong? I don't really get the numbers in the article. My game was launched on greenlight without any kind of marketing. Heck I didn't even share it on my social networks and I got more visitors and yes votes than they got with the help of the Dare to be digital expo the first days.

    So I don't know if they tracked their traffic or just guessed it came from the expo <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz"> Because a new greenlight projects always gets a lot of traffic as long as it is on the first page and has a fun animated icon <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

    And if you need more visitors at some point join a bundle. Your game is great and with the votes from the bundle owners you'll get greenlit in notime <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">
