  • I guess it's the antispam bot's fault, sometimes he deletes threads which contain urls.

I don't know in what cases he takes action. It must be some kind of bug.

Or maybe some spammer replied to your thread with an ad link.

  • shive Of course you can get a refund. May I ask Tom how the refund process works?

  • Joannesalfa It got deleted

cjbruce I'll see what I can do

  • cjbruce none, I can't be uploading a new plugin to the store since users who bought the plugin will have to pay again for the update.

  • cjbruce Unfortunately I'm dropping the plugin.

Be it subscription or not, I still don't consider C3 to be a brand new product knowing how much time I spent with C2.

Scirra should have entered the web application building market and delivered a C2 app creator edition.

And that way they would have been the first company to introduce the world's first no-coding required app creator.

But instead they spent 3 years porting C2 to the web without getting the opinion of their userbase, which made a lot of users leave the forums and look for alternatives.

    Bad decision.

  • chuchelo There is an issue with the store, I posted a bug report about it.

  • My Babylon3D plugin ceased to exist on the store, when I checked my seller account, I found it inside the retired from sale section.

Is there a way to restore it to the store ?

  • cjbruce Got it, I'll make the necessary changes to the magicWand.cmd file which will do all the work for you.

  • Hi all, I'm a Javascript/HTML5 developper who enjoys extending C2 with plugins and behaviors, personnaly I think that C2 is a unique piece of software that makes it 10x easier for people to create web projects, and you will surely get addicted to it especially if you are a JS developper.

I wish that there will be an app building version of C2 which provides droppable UI elements much like in Visual Studio.

  • cjbruce Can you please share an example of your method, just a simple capx demo alongside the instructions so I can update the thread with your post. Thanks in advance.

I've never seen a web application which does not use the subscription model, so I don't know if a pay once model will work since the costs of running C3 on a server and maintaining it must be quite high.

Although I think that the best way to do so is by making the payment model pay-once and charging extra per each exporter or feature. In short, the only other option besides the subscription model is the pay-once/pay-extra-per-package model:

    • Construct 3 lifetime registration = xxx $
    • Android exporter package = xxx $
    • iOS exporter package = xxx $
    • NWJS/Electron exporter package = xxx $
    • Marketing boost package = xxx $

    etc ...

Even so, I don't think that it will cover their monthly bills.

  • So it's not the Nvidia driver's fault, you could try these options:

    • Running C2 in Windows 7 compatibility mode
    • Booting in Safe mode and testing C2
    • Running Windows Update and checking if there is a major update that has not been installed yet
    • Making sure that .Net Framework 4.5 is installed ( IDK if C2 even uses this )

I can't think of any other options
