• Val Here is a good service a friend of mine just used:

    http://www.werecoverdata.com/lp/google.aspx?src=google&gclid=COT-3baY6bcCFUJlMgoduUQAtw

They recovered everything for him 100% of his 425GB of data. They advertize "if we cannot get the required data, no recovery fee will occur." They gave him an estimated cost of around $200 but when it was all done they only charged him $127.

  • coolernow123 I don't know if you seen this today but it is the first music video ever made in space.

It was made yesterday by Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield aboard the International Space Station just before he finished his 5 month long mission. I think it's pretty amazing.

Released less than 24 hours ago, and almost 2 million views. It's gone viral!

  • maybe you(@velotjet), awarmenhoven and I should put our heads together and come up with some kind of robust MP system for C2?

I think this is a brilliant idea! After all three great minds working together are better than one. That and you all have a deep passion for game development, and helping others from what I have seen.

I for one would donate or pay for a user friendly Online Multiplayer product and/or service that worked with Construct 2. Maybe you guys could put together a nice prototype, and try a crowd funding campaign to get the money needed to get your new company off the ground.

It's something to think about. There is still a huge market for new innovative game creation tools.

  • I live in Juneau, Wisconsin, USA.

Maybe tomorrow around 8:00am Central Standard time when Ashley, and everyone is usually on line would be a good time to try to get more players to test with.

  • For a quick throw together it's working quite nicely. I experienced no lag, or time delays logging in or playing. Also aiming worked for me. I was playing on a almost 4 year old laptop with a old out dated graphics card.

I would like to try this with 100 players just to see how it performs.

I think you got something good started here keep at it.

  • jayderyu Pretty cool! I just tested your game did you use a plugin or make your own? There was no sound was there suppose to be?

    [TUBE]ycwsF77NP_A[/TUBE]

A world without the Internet? This frightening documentary from a future where the plug has been pulled paints a bleak picture. Aimless people will just sit around, full of regret for all those wasted hours and letting their country go to wrack and ruin. And anger, fierce anger, that they still know Kim Kardashian's name, even though they never knew what the hell she actually did.

  • farflamex Congrats on getting your new phone, and thanks for the performance update on your new phone.

Yes, physics are a mobile performance killer but it looks like Windows Phone 8 beats Android big time on performance.

30fps with 150 sprites is still playable, and since your new phone is on the lower end of the scale hardware wise any game you make will run on all windows phone 8's. Also you could probably cut down your sprite count if you creatively use tiled backgrounds instead of sprites whenever possible. 150 sprites is more than enough to make short platformer levels.

  • boolean I took a look at your sample capx, and I think you could increase your games performance by using System every --> ? seconds instead of Every tick.

When ever you have a lot of sprites moving at angles it will kill your games performance. My first Android game Falling Fruit Frenzy has a lot of sprites moving at angles, and I had to sacrifice quite a bit of my original game idea to get it to run at a playable speed with CocoonJS.

I don't know if developing for Android is worth all of the headaches, heartaches, and disappointments anymore. I invested a lot of money in Android devises for testing on just because I believed in companies like AppMobi, and CocoonJS. But it seems like they have abandoned us lately. AppMobi's direct canvas I could never get to work with Android, and now that Intel bought there tools, and developers they never come here anymore. And CocoonJS it seems like there new flagship is 3D so I don't expect them to be fixing anything we have all been waiting for, for over a year now like in app purchases, audio, or a ad revenue service that's not a scam like MoPub is.

My disappointments with Android have even left me afraid to invest in other mobile platforms devises. I might just get out of the mobile market all together until I see someone from here actually turn a profit.

  • Wow! Looks incredible I love the art style.

  • No, Construct 2 forums are not dead. lol

It's just been slow the last couple of weeks probably because spring brake is going on, and all the young members are in some tropical paradise right now drinking up all there parents hard earned money.

Also, there are a lot of members lurking in the background see all the guests on line. I bet most of them are members of the community just waiting for some awesome announcement like audio now 100% working in CocoonJS, or in app purchases now working in CocoonJS. LOL

Stick around things will liven up.

  • ArcadEd This is awesome! Thanks for making this, and especially for sharing it with us.
