  • Thank you so much Kyatric. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> That fixed it.

Yes I have been using firefox but I also have Chrome, Explorer, Opera, and Safari. All of them were giving me the same issue but not anymore thanks to your fix.

    Thanks again

  • Ok here is my capx

  • Hi MeJustMe

I tried exporting my game, and that is the screen shot from the exported game. At first I thought it might be a photoshop issue because sometimes photoshop will leave a 1px empty space on the right side of an image so I cropped the background 1px in from the sides. But the result is the same.

Try giving the bound to layout behavior to your little sprite that keeps running off.

Anyway good luck with your game. I might just start on a different game for now something I know I can make with little issues. lol

Ok thanks Kyatric I will in a few minutes.

  • I am having the same problem also maybe it's a bug. <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> No mater what I try I get the same gap.

  • Your welcome. Just one thing though instead of using the text object use the sprite object if you make your own buttons.

  • Hi ProFound

ayzhong made a nice video tutorial series called "How to make a port of 1945 using Construct" It covers most of the basics including how to make a start screen for your game which can be found in part 7 here:

    scirra.com/tutorials/53/how-to-make-a-port-of-1945-using-construct/page-7

He demonstrates how to make clickable text but you could make your own buttons to use instead of text. Hope this helps.

  • Ghengis I love your game "CASH ROLL". <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> What a fun, and addictive game. Did you make all the game art yourself? I'm looking forward to your AJAX tutorial Iv been working on a database, and some php scripts for a social game like FarmVille, and I would really like to use Construct 2 to build it.

  • Awesome tutorial barefists! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Just what I was looking for. I don't have an Android phone but after following your tutorial I tested my game on my Android Emulator, and it works great! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Games run a little slower on an emulator but almost unnoticeable to the gamer. Just a request but would you consider writing another tutorial on how to upload, and sell our games on the Android marketplace?
