  • If you turn off 3d layering it will work, but that's limiting as well. What you can do is place a background behind those sprites. As long as its the same texture you wont notice anything much. Still your best bet is stretching a mesh, that in conjunction with them being tiled should solve most everything. A few big mesh's are still way better than an fx.

    It's just as bad with 3D layering turned off

You don't come here, make a few posts with some game you had someone else practically make for you, then start making demands for things you've already been told are too complicated to add to the current version. What part of Ashley's original reply didn't you understand?

    Not to bash the program, but it looks just too similar beetwen these two screens.

    And after playing the games, it just feels like it doesn't really make more things than Construct, but we just have to wait till the final product.

    The thing I do like is that you can make Browser games like flash with that.

    Yeah cause construct would never look anything like another application out there, oh wait.

    Welcome to the great construct game challenge of 2010!

    The game

    Due to a series of unfortunate events in IRC. An unstable dimensional rift in space time opened above Sagal's stash of Beer, swallowing it up instantly. Without a thought, Sagal, in a panic as the store was closed. Jumped into the rift to save his beloved beer. Only to discover himself in a dimension where beer had never been invented, thus his stash had instantly become as precious to the inhabitants as the Holy Grail (which they planned to use to drink the beer from). The queen decided Sagal couldn't have his beer back and sent forth her minions to prevent him from reaching the Royal refrigerator to claim his prize and return back to his home in Finland.

    The challenge

    It's up to YOU to turn this game into a reality. It can look any way you like, it can be any genre you like, there is no limit on what you do with it. It can be short, it can be long. So long as it's silly!

    The rules

    The game has to be made in construct (any version) and your cap provided, and you have to use every plugin and behavior at least once somewhere in your game no matter what.

    Other than that, there are no rules.

    June 1st 2010

  • i made a game based on my friends random ideas once, i forgot what he said but it had to do with cows backflipping, jesus, foam finger #1's, milk jets, laser vision, and TMNT.

  • Here's hoping ya'll don't make a bunch of logo's, would look a bit silly having a showreel of logo's Besides, supposed to be for stuff in construct to show off what construct can do. It's a good logo, but if it was done in construct like Mary Janes, it would be a better example me thinks.

  • After seen this thread I've made an animated Construct logo this weekend. It can be used for any promotional purpose or any Construct creations.

    Caprica is %*?(?" awesome! and I've never kept up with Lost, I just think it's fun to guess on the last episode. Heck I had to google the name of that Shepard guy hehe.
