  • whenever I apply left or right arrow to a ball, the other ball follows the same behavior.

    How do I prevent this from happening?

    it's just a ball that bounces.

    I'm trying to add behaviors so I can control the ball and still keep it's bounce.

    When I try to add platform or 8 direction o it.

    It bounces until I use the keyboard to try to control it. Then it stops bouncing

  • I can move it with platform

    I can make it bounce

    but I can't do both

    meaning that if I add controls to a bouncing ball, I can control the ball but then it loses it's bounce.

    any ideas?

  • I've gotten my sprite to sort of float by using the sine effect and adjusted various settings and it sort of floats but it floats down. How would I keep the sprite just floating around an area? Not just stationary in one spot but floating and when bumped moves around but never floats to the bottom of the screen.

    One of my sprites still have the behavior attached toit.

  • I'll check and see if I just copied it without quitting.

    But all I do to remove it is to take it out f the folder correct?

  • tried searching for a solution before posting

    I removed a behavior from from contruct2 folder. ( toggle behavior)

    now it keeps asking for that particular behavior and won't let me continue.

    I've tried placing the behavior back into the correct folder but it still gives me an error..

    any ideas?

    If I try to use Rex's Repository Directory app.

    it gives me this error:

    WindowsError: [Error 5] Access is denied: u'C:\\Program Files\\Construct 2\\exporters\\html5\\behaviors\\rex_toggleswitch'

  • Thanks to blackhornet for taking time to explain few things to me.

    Now a question about families.

    I have the free version so families are not available.

    However, I downloaded a capx that included families the project.

    Does that mean I could basically use that capx as a blank project and have use of the family feature?

    If so, I'm assuming this is an overlooked bug?

    I haven't actually tested it yet but just wondering.
