• Is it possible to take one object and have a trigger to switch it with another in the original location?

  • I have it where I make a new EVENT > SYSTEM, Time: Every X Milliseconds, 2000 (for example). Then for the ACTION > SYSTEM, Create Object, pick the object, layer 1 (for example), x coor is random(640), and y is 0.

    + System: Every 2000 milliseconds

-> System: Create object HealthPack on layer 1 at (random(640), 0)

  • Just read the above comments, tested, failed. Doh, heh.

  • Ah, sorry about that. Must not have realized. I am usually quite accurate.

  • I thought I put this in the open topic section. Where did I place it originally?

  • I was reading scirra.com/tutorials/46/introduction-to-families-for-construct-classic about the families. The song "We Are Family" came to mind. Not it is stuck in there! Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe some kind of physic connection?

    Scirra accept investment

I wanted to express my congrats to you all. Sounds like a God-send to you for the ongoing project of C2.

I still want to get me a license for it but still unemployed. Just this week got rid of Brinks alarm service (I canceled the land line phone two months ago anyway) and Netflix. Our church helped us pay rent for this month. So, still dead tight for me. I still practice the basics of CC and from it, I see so much potential for C2 in the future.

Again, congratulations and good luck with the new full time responsibility of C2.

    God bless.

  • If anyone would like to give a quick go at a shooter I started in June and tinkered with bit by bit.

    Documentation started from June.

    mediafire.com

    Here is the current file.

Now please bare in mind this is just a simple shooter to rack up points right now.

Just looking for some opinions on it.

    Thanks.

  • > We can download the free version and later buy the license to just enter in, aye?

Yup, you get sent a license file and you can put that either in the install directory, My Documents, or use the 'enter license' button in the about screen. Then, the free edition automatically upgrades to licensed - there isn't a different download.

Thanks, palie. I appreciate the info.

  • Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

    Nobody knows but Jesus

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

    Nobody knows my sorrow

    Nobody has their preview working

    The forums need a fixing

    Glory hallelujah!

Just thought it was funny to type that.

  • I am using two screen on one of my systems. I could rotate the DESKTOP 90DEG to the left and tilt my head. Now that I said it, I should do ti for giggles and take a snapshot. Wonder if I can still type on my laptop with my head tilted as such.

  • Ohhh, I got to take a look at these. Thanks!!

  • Man, I wish I could draw. When I draw stick figures on paper, they come out as fat logs. Try and figure that one out!!!

  • I be using the freebie until I can get the money (still unemployed since layoff and still working on the rent payment here ). I had some chap in another post say s/he not understand why people say "they have no money." As stated in my reply, every circumstance is different. As I get better in CC and learn some C2 (all time permitting), I would then plan to buy the non-business version. Just give me time.

Anyway, to my question that someone may already have asked and had answered somewhere in these boards for which I am not going to go searching for, and this maybe a silly silly question, but the buying option is just for the license itself, and not a different copy of the setup executable, right? We can download the free version and later buy the license to just enter in, aye?

    Thanks, all.

  • I think I know what you mean. Will try it and see what I can do. Thanks.
