good suggestion. I'm willing to add a default behavior. but I'm not sure all users are happy with that.

    yongsheng, IntelRobert,

If you did implement this, we'd appreciate a simple way to turn the default option on and off.

We generally create our own exit window & buttons, as we think it looks much better, and more polished than the systems generic exit window.

  • Nice work mef1sto, Poise is a fantastic game! Congratulations to simwhi, Nathan for your app as well.

It's great to see C2 games doing so well!

  • Only just saw this post, so I hope I'm not too late!

Like shinkan & AnD4D, I preferred the classical feel and emotional strength of the melancholic mix!

Good luck, let us know how it goes :)

  • Just tried Hungry Hal for the first time, and had a lot of fun playing it!

I can easily see this game being very popular, nice work :)

  • Cool game! Took me a few moments to get used to the controls, and get the ships orientation right. But once I did, I had a great time playing this. I really liked the different bullet power-ups too.

Looking forward to playing this again :)

Crosswalk is a portable, packaged version of the Chrome browser, that supports all of the advantages associated with a browser (WebGL, Memory Management, Web Audio etc) see here.

C2 allows you to export your app via an Android option. You can then import this into the Intel XDK, and build for Android devices (export tut).

There are some other "Crosswalk" threads on the forum if you need any further info.

    Hope that helps :)

  • Hey guys,

The game is looking fantastic, and I love the new graphics. They make things look sharper, whilst maintaining that retro feel!

Nice work, can't wait to see the finished product :)

  • Haven't tried it myself yet, but from what I've read this seems like a normal exported file size.

In this thread (here) IntelRobert mentions that the Crosswalk package has now been reduced from 20-25MB to 17MB.

  • Just watched your tutorial, and it's pretty good for a first try!

Seems to be a good way to introduce beginners to the software. And will help to familiarize them with the interface, and some basic actions.

Instructions are all very clear and easy to follow. But why did you apologise (at the end) for being Dutch, I think that's pretty cool

Anyway, nice work! I've subbed your channel, and I'll keep an eye open for more tuts.

  • Hey AnD4D,

Nice result for just a day of work! Fun game, I really like the symbolism

  • Hey Drew,

It's been a while since I last looked in, and everything is looking really good!

As far as Sandy goes, I'd lean towards the style used for character A. I think this offers a nice contrast to the Agent Red character.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing how things progress :)

  • Hey Rhindon,

Yeah you should definitely keep the independent head turns!

It's those subtle touches that really make a game stand out from the crowd! Sometimes players aren't even consciously aware of them. But they can just add an extra dimension to a game and make it feel much more polished and professional.

I'll keep an eye open for more :)

  • Sounds like a cool project, and off to a good start!

I particularly like that FINN's head appears to turn independently from his body (nice touch)!

Look forward to seeing more :)

  • Hi Zonic3000,

I tried the game on my HTC Desire, and couldn't open the app using the silver button.

Let me know if you need me to test any updates :)
