  • Another cool looking game Pixel! The artwork looks really good, and I like the vibrant colours you've chosen for the sky (adds a very blitzy feel)!

    Nice work

  • Cool game peterbot, I had lots of fun playing this!

As Pixel said, it does take a bit of patience and concentration to play. That certainly adds lots of depth and replay value to the game. I look forward to seeing future updates

  • But as Kyatric has already mentioned, a bunch of randomly listed capx, with no real context, will not help anyone.

Any forum user (new or old), will have a much better chance of finding what they need by carrying out a search which will return results relevant to the search terms they use.

  • This is a fantastic course!

I was fortunate enough to be asked to help Ed evaluate the course, and I have to say I found it very useful. Ed takes you through each topic step by step, and the information is all presented in a way that's very easy to follow.

The presentation style is relaxed and friendly, the information provided is detailed and comprehensive. And considering the potential return you could make after learning this information, $29 is a great price!

Nice work ArcadEd, I look forward to mores courses in the future

  • Hey androidtimo,

Nice work, I like what you've done so far! Game play is good, and the music & sfx really add lots of atmosphere to the game.

Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing how your project develops.

  • Hey Roccinio, your game is looking really good! Graphics and animations, are very polished, and the game has a really professional finish.

Nice work, and good luck with the game

  • Great looking game, and fun to play too! It has lots of atmosphere, I look forward to seeing more.

  • The idea of the yo-yo doing 360's sounds cool! Perhaps you could allow it to rotate whilst extended (just like the old "around the world" trick). That would allow players to pop a whole load of balloons (in an arc) all at once!? You could also allow the touch location to control the length of the yo-yo's extension as well as it's direction!?

Yep the song is pretty old now, I guess time flies when you're counting red balloons

Edit: pixel perfick always comes up with really great names... I pinched one of his name suggestions only yesterday

  • I tried it on Chrome, everything ran well, and the quit button worked for me.

It's a fun concept, but (as already mentioned) it'll need something more to really finish it off. Is there any particular reason you chose to let the yo-yo move independently, rather than allowing the players touch to indicate the yo-yo's direction?

zenox98, that was my first thought too (I guess that just shows my age)! Anyway, it never hurts to have links to well know connections

  • pixel perfick, thanks buddy, I think I'll take you up on that very kind offer!

  • pixel perfick, cool name, I think I may have to steal that one!

  • pixel perfick, nope you certainly wouldn't wanna step on it, because it would zap you good! Perhaps I should refer to it as an electro-field trap instead?

  • Just finished the animation cycle for our electro-field platform.
