I was thinking, maybe a Construct with more complex stuff for advanced users?
Feedback appreciated.
I wouldn't mind Construct with Ruby scripting instead of Python.
Why don't you elaborate on the complex stuff? And how is Construct not complex enough?
Maybe he means all the dev stuff like the sdk, etc. in a big zip file
maybe he means like the 's' plugin, but more user friendly
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Well, what I mean is having things such as .dll file creation, and SDL's, and stuff like that.
I don't think that's likely to happen.
That's a huge amount of complexity you're proposing, without suggesting how it would work or why it would be useful and worth the developer's time. Perhaps you should flesh out your ideas in some more detail.
Sounds to me like con struct engineer's edition is just plugin sdk
Plural of SDL doesn't make any sense. Do you know what SDL is?
S... D... Library.
Oh, and what I mean is stuff like wireframe rendering, Ruby scripting, etc...
Have no idea what you mean about wireframe, since this is 2d, but there is an unfinished lua plug on the cvs.

that idea is actually the most appealing to me , 'S' is almost everything i need at the moment but has bit awkward handling imo. (no offence intended)
Ruby? I'd perfer Lua.
I meant to say that it should be optional. Then we could use whatever language we were the most comfortable with.
