eads up! We're back in business and 1.7 Official is coming down the pipe soon.
Making a browser-less games for windows 7 would be a dream come true 8).
Thanks for the link.
Node Webkit should replace Awesomium soon anyway ;)
We're already replacing Awesomium with node-webkit for the next beta, and preliminarily it's looking very nice. So I think we'll still stick to it - Awesomium has been moving glacially slowly lately.
I hope that node-webkit will be good. I recently noticed that when i start the game, the text objects wont show up until i trigger them with some action wich is kinda not good when i do quick preview versions for showing to ppl ^^;
Ashley
Good news!
Looking forward to see how the integration is done!
Will the node-webkit be included with construct, so we have one click export, or the C2 will export a html and the node-webkit wrapping will have to be done manually?
I hope it will export directly to .exe
JohnnySheffield should be one click export with an automatically wrapped EXE and Mac OS X .app!
Yay! Awesome!
I knew I made a good buy when I grabbed my licence.
Thanks Ashley!
Can't wait...
Ashley and Linux?

This is very exciting! One question though..
ode.js brings high-performance access to the local machine resources, so that HTML5 apps can break out of the browser and get access to the file system, databases, server sockets, etc. Just like any other regular application. Check the wiki for more details.
Does this mean there may be a way to read and write save file/text files etc??
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
