  • I will say here a little about my contributions and what I see.

    If you use google translate, please take a look and read carefully, because sometimes it is not so good translation. Example: google translates Construct to Construir, I made some reviews, and adjusted that.

    Now I will write in portuguese some of my suggestions that I think we should follow:

  • I made an account at opengameart and publish some free CC0 work there

    -> https://opengameart.org/users/nemezes

    (free CC0 = you can use it whenever you want, the way you want, it is totally free, you can modify and so on..)

    here are some samples.. have fun using it!!

  • This is a compilation from my works that I made this year: 2017.

    It is a 5 in 1 game: 5 games in one game. Most of the games I made for brazilians gamejams, because of this some games are in portuguese (sorry about that).

    The games are easy to play: ENTER to start/select, arrow keys (or AWSD), H, B, N, M.

    9 to reset game, 0 to go to select screen.

    You can also use a gamepad/joystick to play. Press START to play/select games, SELECT to reset games (or go to select screen).

  • Kyatric maybe I didnt explain well.

    what I did was that: I created a new project and using the C3 in french I created a new event using the option (in french translation) "Systeme" -> "Comparer deux valeurs" -> "Premiere valeur" I tried to use the 'randon' expression and it auto complete to me 'racine sqrt'. It is that what I mentioned.

    If I use the french translation of C3 and I am used to use the expressions in english (as an old user of C2), it will be confusing because of that auto complete.

  • Just corrected those mistakes.

    I hope everything is ok for the next build.

    Wanna see C3 in portuguese.

  • sorry for many posts, but now I understand how to use the incomplete translations and portuguese is not avaiable.

    could you, please, look again for errors? I will try to correct them and see if it will work. thanks.

  • Doubt: should I translate "ProjectName" to

    (a) "Nome do Projeto"

    or

    (b) "NomeDoProjeto"

  • Try Construct 3

  • I am using C3 in french to see what I have to do when translating to portuguese.

    I got a problem with french C3, tried to use the expression "random" and it gives me the expression "racine". in portuguese, for coincidence, I will get the same as "racine" writes "raiz quadrada" and "random" is "aletatório". so for really new users of C3, translations will be really nice, but for users of C2 that starts using translated C3 will be a mess. I sent a message to Ashley to look at it.

    A better option is to show both options, when I type "random" when using french/portuguese C3 it will give me the options to "random" and "racine".

  • Ashley, I saw other discussions about expressions, I also got confused when translating to portuguese, so I am using the Construct 3 in french to see what was done and I saw that everything got translated and it got really confusing to a person who used C2.

    For example, I tried to use the "random" expression, but when I typed "random", it gives the expression "sqrt", as for french lets say that "random" matches for "racine". It is better to use both. If I type "random" it will give me the options for "random" and "racine"="sqrt" to use.

    portuguese

    "random"="aleatório"

    "sqrt"="raiz quadrada"

    so it will happen the same as I mentioned in french

    for new C3 users that never used C2, it will be OK, but for old users of C2 that starts to use translated C3, I think it will be a problem.

  • Ashley, I think I looked at all those problems. Maybe I corrected them all, could you, please, check again. Thanks

  • Really nice

    Wanna see the final work

  • did you try the pathfind behavior? maybe it will work smoothly, but maybe will have some delay.

    or you can try to adapt something from this tutorial: https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/626/ma ... ing-camera

    (use the lerp on what you have done with the array)

  • I made some small games for gamejams, now I am taking all this games together in a gamepack 6x1, it will have at least 2 new games.

    maybe I can make it a 7x1, 8x1 pack.

    the game Varadouro Fight was made for C3jam using Construct 3, now I am remaking it using Construct 2.

    it is all in portuguese, but maybe, in the future, I can make an english translation.
