You can't be mad at C2 or Scirra for lack of mobile support. At least in my opinion, it was never sold as a mobile development platform.

compilations before 22-25 september works with ads

newer compilations - nope... and Ludei replied that their test ads works fine, ehh :)

I love Construct 2 but I'm not 12 years old, and there are bills to pay, and food to buy, so just like you - I want to get working apps, with good monetization methods (if released free). Nothing more, nothing less :)

I love Construct 2 but recently:

• I can't even show sh*tty banners on my new CocoonJS compilations
• there are no other ad monetization methods (and even if there would be - is there any guarantee that they would work with CocoonJS?)

in Unity you have to pay those $$$ when you already get 100,000$ income from your apps (but there are no event sheets, nice stuff and so on)

anyway I guess that now SCIRRA 80% money gets from yearly education licences... so we might not be the real C2 target:

100 independent devs x 79 pounds = 7900 pounds *one time*

100 schools x 159.9 pounds = 15,990 pounds *yearly*

:)

yet there is no better alternative in case of Android (PhoneGap sucks)

and I'm still waiting for reply from ludei about not visible banners after last changes...

I suggest to make simple test: if book will use i.e. 50 images, then put all on 50 layouts, on each layout add one button "next page" linking to next layout; then compile and check if get "disappearing" images on i.e. 20nd layout (and next). Because i.e. 50 FHD images working on Chrome/FF does not mean that it will work on mobile/tablet too :)
