  • I have no idea on this plugin/behaviour, but if you're only increasing clip size, this might the problem.

Try increase stock too. The way it got programmed it could be using clip as a portion of stock. So when u fire it decreases from clip, decreasing indirectly from stock too.

  • AFAIK, this an android issue. Almost everygame will have this. Cant remember why, but it iss reproduceable for me with many games (maybe all, but i dont play that many also not commonly using BT phones).

  • Thanks lucid and sagispin !

  • Bump. Anyone? :(

  • Visually, but they are very different.

But do you send it trough ajax (or something liek)? Did you "var_dumped" the variable?

For example, a space at the beggining or final of the string will generate a complete diff hash.

  • Sorry, i posted on Spriter topic too but i think ill have more visibility as a standalone topic:

I have a question regarding collision on spriter's sprites.

Lets say i have 5 spriters:

    - If i check collisions with the sprite (the "blank square") its actually only with the square, so the edges of the image wont trigger for example;

    - If i check with the family created for the body parts, it works fine (as each body part is a sprite).

Is this the only way? Because if so, how to have those 5 "spriters" all of them with their own collisions shapes and each within its own family? Without spriters those 5 sprites would be on a family (lets say enemy), but as each is a family and construct doesnt support family of families... im kinda lost.

How you guys make it? Use one single family for the ENTIRE parts of spriter's being used?

How construct handles a family with hundreds of sprites? Doesnt matter?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Yes, ajax can "read" anything.

Your problem is probably because of the CORS. Your php has the explicit (allow access bla bla bla) header while the txt (ofc) doesn't. You'll need a php to read the file too, with the same header.

Just echo file_get_contents and you're fine.

  • If you can make the ajax request to send the data and this works fine, it isn't a communication problem. Have you tried to "skip" the file read part and just send a simple string from the php to construct?

It could be something with the file (permission for example) but again, as you were able to write into the file... Could you post the php lines you using to read the file?

  • Have you tried to scale the tilemap? Never tried and dont have C2 here to check, tho.

  • How are you comparing the hashes? Indeed a comparison or just matching (visually/notepad) them?

My point is, are you posting data to a php? Before hashing the data, var_dump it to check what exactly youre receiving.

If youre not posting, check on /debug the data value.

  • You guys should create a bug issue. github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • No, I don't have the C3-runtime version yet. I'll look at it again. I did try previously, but didn't get far with the new syntax.

I've updated the OP to clarify this.

Fair enough. Apologies to bilgekaan then :P
