Andriod is a operating system developed by Google for mobile phones. And no, i don't think it can work of windows as well, but you can use a Andriod emulator to test you apps on PC.

What year was Android created? is it recent and is it complete or beta?

  • Nice but for what OS's it is for?

Is it just for Android? (what is this anyway? never heard of Android before, sorry) or for Windows as well?

  • I didn't explain well enough sorry, I meant what can't Construct do that GD can do? I know UDK is better and shouldn't be compared, I should have stated that in the post earlier sorry.

Also I should ask what is planned for GD for the future, any support for 3D at all? what features will GD have that in Construct are not implemented or focused on?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • So what can this program do that Construct cannot do? for now I see it as an alternative to Construct, is this gonna have more power (like how is that possible?) more support for 3D or what? enlighten me on this program if it's worth switching over. (I won't do so soon tough)

  • It's like re-learning everything from scratch, it's nice tough, this means we're getting into a new age of WYSIWYG game development, nevertheless I will stick to Construct for now.

  • So how did you made the thumbs then? are they models or what? I thought Construct doesn't support animated models yet, hopefully someone will write a tutorial on 3D game development for Construct.

Also can a game like Doom/Wolfeinsten be replicated in Construct? it uses sprites not models but the game levels are 3D or Construct hasn't reached that stage to make that yet?

  • How? did you use costum plug-ins to make this?

and is there a tutorial somewhere on to make 3D games in Construct? atleast 3D platformers like Megaman X8?

  • u are right but tell me am i make cricket game in construct?

*Looking at Cricket 3D on google* No, sorry you cannot create something like that, however you can do a fake 3D version of it using sprites instead of models, using the 3D box/object for the background and sprites for the 2D objects and ball and whatever else, Construct's power on 3D is very limited, so far you cannot even make an animated 3D model in Construct but it excels in 2D however.

  • That's a cool gun there on the last screenshot, what kind of style is that? cyberpunk? it look's unpractical.

  • ZoniK 4 isn't submitted on yoyogames no, however this project has been abandoned for another project which uses my very own drawn sprites, I got sick and tired of making ZoniK after all and decided to make my own games with my own graphics from sprites to tiles, my graphics may not be the best but I hope the gameplay and story of the new project make up for it.

It will be a horror game, a platformer horror game and I'm currently drawing graphics for it, it's current name is Stygiophobia but so far for it nothing is shown, it's just started and am not working on it everyday either, I just hope I get somewhere where I release a demo or some screenshots soon, don't ask when tough.

  • I have to agree with Raymond here, I did see post's myself of what he pointed, both on this forum and other forums (some even worse, like SRB2 forums and Cubeengine forums) but yes I do agree with your points Raymond, acting like a smartass to the person asking for help would achieve nothing and it's best if you shut up if you have nothing positive/constructive to say.

  • Quick example.

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1646976/buttons.cap

All the sprites are in a Family called blue.

EDIT - you'll need 0.9.99 to open it

But the latest unstable release is 0.9.91, is it an SVN release?
