  • Sounds good to me. Fewer forums to click "Mark as read" on

Isn't that what "Mark forums read" - - is for?

  • Oh dear. Not exactly useful is it? Perhaps we could persuade them to try using Construct?

  • Hey, if I could knock up a logo using OpenClipart items and some lower-case text, think they'll pay me $250? Actually, my artistic talent is nil and I'm sure I could better than the winner!

  • Attitude's condition, at the moment, is pretty questionable Candescence, so mentioning it seems pointless. As for the technique, most of the results that appear seem to be so far either theoretical or for non-realtime applications.

  • [quote:aidmkyn1]Look at this page http://www.freesound.org/whatIsFreesound.php and you could sure that all audio content there released under the CC Sampling Plus License.

But their site (not sounds) is under the CC 2 license that you've mentioned above

    oops my bad.

[quote:aidmkyn1]Always amusing seeing people whine about licensing.

Not really complaining, I just don't understand how someone could be so hard up for credit that they have to make a hundred variations of flatulence.

    That is somewhat bizarre, yes...

  • Always amusing seeing people whine about licensing.

  • Please note the following (about the Construct source code proper).

If the terms of the Prof-UIS license is stopping you from releasing the entire source code, then this is a violation.

You cannot choose to not release source code because it "is messy" or otherwise personally disagreeable. This is also a violation.

  • If you do, Eammy, consider OGRE3d. http://www.ogre3d.org/

  • On the zip file for the latest version, you could do with stripping out the .svn directories - it halves the size.

  • Well... don't know if someone remind me... some experiments with a wolf game and some "art things". Well, i usually check the forums, but don't wanted post anything cause for some reason can't keep 1 project for so much time, and i end with lot of experiments or half made games.

This are 2 projects i never posted, but want to share some screenshots.

Simple plat game about a mad king, more puzzle based than anything.

I would so love to see more of that "King of da Cards", looks a (right royal) riot!

  • World of Goo is an excellent game, definitely! Hope 2D Boy comes up with something just as innovative for their next release.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I've had some luck with Construct games under WINE. Some run better than others, though.

  • Controls could just be a WINE thing. Haven't tried it under actual Windows yet.

  • Oh, sorry

    HWA = Hardware Acceleration.

I just wish direct-x was not a requirement all of the time...

    But why?

  • Just checked out your SAGE release. Under WINE. It works, but I'm not sure I'd call it playable. Controls don't seem to like you pressing more than one key at a time and music is doubling up. Going to give it a try under the virtual(box) 2K and see what happens.
