  Project files work exactly like that.

  You can edit a Json file in any text editor, just so long as it doesn't do any extra formatting, and you save as the same type.

  Of course you will have to re-import files you edit externally.

  If you want to use js, use the Browser object, or scripting, if you have that feature.

  There's also the Advanced Random object if you need more advanced features, seed, noise, etc.

  Doesn't matter how good the art, or aesthetic is if it doesn't appeal to an audience that will appreciate it.

  Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Art Noir, and Art Nouveau, are all niche, but end up being kitsch for games.

  Just loading a capx into C3 would tell you how much work you have for a conversion.

  I would not use the current beta. I doesn't seem to work well with C2 files.

  One file wouldn't even try to load, while one did, and crashed with warnings from render cells.

  The ads, are what get dangerous. Many networks do little moderation, and I've seen malicious scripts used with them.

  I'm saying this because I've already gone this route. Mainly as a piracy solution.

  Anyway yeah there is still money to be made, but you need exponentially more traffic.

  Deploying to the reputable portals that do adshare is feasible, but it's a lot of extra work, and there's a lot more competition.
