  • You also missed some cool stuff in the Uploads and Creations areas. A couple of playable games/demos were made like Lobo's Cherche, Rodjo's physics based puzzle game (thread My First Game), my Much Shrooms worms clone demo... basically everything on the first page of threads in the "Your Creations" area

  • I think you could use the Physics behaviour and give it an upward and horizontal velocity when created.

  • I didn't mean that I couldn't run it, I just meant it lagged too much for me, so can you also add a ini file or something which stores whether motion blur is on (1) or off (0)?

  • A little spam is worth a great program, now to go test if its any good...

  • Thanks, I still get a little bit of rigid/jittery movement, but I got to try it now. I am a little bit confused about what to do once you reach the magnet and the weird tetris blocks

  • Looks excellent but my computer doesnt like motion blur so its unplayable for me Good work though!

  • Wow, excellent job!

We need to start collecting the links to all the playable games like this in the forums and put them into a stickied/locked thread so that we dont lose these gems and so new people can have completed or playable games to reference when deciding to use Construct

  • Cool find! Thanks for sharing

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Thanks Midnight ^-^ And i'm not sure if I will be working on it any time soon, but its summer and might find myself bored at home again sometime

One problem is that I made this before I knew about Families and their use, so it isn't very flexible for things such as more than 4 worms and creating multiple weapons/projectiles with ease.

Although...Instead of waiting for my lazyness, you could use my source cap (included) and improve/change it for your own project. Feel free to ask me anytime for help understanding my code or improving it (eg: multiple weapons, which was about 10% implemented at the release of the demo).

If you do use my work I hope that you succeed where I failed

EDIT: Just for everyone who reads, I would like to mention that I don't need any credit or anything if you use my work, just please don't steal it and say you created it yourself. If you do make a modification, then the things you modified become your work, but copying the entire source and changing the name doesn't mean that the whole game was made by you.

  • - Improve the Controls system; allow two movements to use separate controls, have a Set control action, allow gamepads and such.

Rather than just two different sets of controls for each movement behaviour, can you instead give us access to the controls of each instance of the movement behaviour?

Possibly have a simple dropdown box with preset control sets that can be defined, saved to a folder and later loaded for use in future projects/layouts.

This would give us complete control as well as the the ability for people to re-use our control settings.

  • All the effects in that look great, the lighting, the fake bumpmapping, but the thing that really amazed me was the water you created.

  • Works now ^-^ Nice effect!

  • Odds are tutorials will come when people start making things worth a tutorial. Eg: After some more bugs are ironed out, people will make serious games and later they might create some tutorials to show how they did certain parts of their games.

  • I mean your Jetpack effect/example sorry, thats the one that doesn't download for me.

  • Oh, ok, thanks
