  • I have only ever used crosswalk for Android so I don't have experience with anything else, sorry.

    I was just curious about the AdMob plugin and wanted to know if it was possible to create more than one instance within a project to allow for me to use both banner ads and interstitial ads within the same project.

  • I can only add one instance of AdMob to my game, is this a plugin limitation? Let me explain...

    I have 2 seperate Ad Unit ID's, one is for a banner ad that displays during gameplay and one is for a fullscreen ad that displays when the user exits the game. However, I can only add one unit ID into the plugin and for that reason can only use the banner ad in my game and not implement the second ad, which is the fullscreen on exit.

    I want to be able to add multiple instances of the AdMob plugin and assign each instance a different Ad Unit ID. Am I missing something?

  • Can someone who uses LeadBolt with IntelXDK please confirm what size iFrame they use and what ad size settng on the LeadBolt they use?

    I can't get the ads to fit the frame consistently even when selecting the same size settings within LeadBolt.

  • The big question has got to be when is admob support coming?

    I tried the html iFrame leadbolt approach but the ads didn't fit the iFrame on phones. Not sure if this was due to pixel density or screen resolution or what the hell was going on because it worked perfect on my Sony Tablet Z but it obviously needs to be consistent across devices so I gave up.

  • I've just downloaded the apk for Space Blaster from the link you posted and it works perfectly, no lag at all. I feel like we're missing a trick here??

  • I don't know if this has been discussed before or not, or if it is even useful as I don't understand the technical inner-workings of what goes on when exporting a project but still thought I'd throw this out there...

    Does this look like anything that could offer another option to people exporting to android with native speed without using a browser wrapper?

  • dankhan I tried changing the path and the source, they are the same except on my source it says \www at the end of it, but other than that they are the same. Do I remove the www? because when I try it errors out. I am also still getting the white screen. Any help would be appreciated.

    You need to export your project as Android into the 'www' directory. The only time I got a white screen was when I exported to a folder other than the 'www' folder.

  • Build system has been updated to crosswalk 4.32.76.5 (labeled canary or beta). This fixes all the audio problems that I have seen. Volume controls work, volume is loud, both for webaudio and audio tag. Let us know if you continue to see audio problems.

    You don't need to update XDK, just close and reopen the build tab.

    IntelRobert just some feedback from my experience. The audio works great now as media volume but for me the tags still don't appear to work.

    *EDIT*

    Sorry, tags do work for my sfx in the "Sounds" folder... but my background music in the Music folder won't mute.

  • I just wanted to bump this to see if there's a solution yet? It looks so much neater within a project to have the text justified. Is anyone able to help with this at all?

    It's basically just the sample provided but I've changed the 0-100 range for actual text. Anyway, the problem being, the Up and Down arrow technique works but not the scroll bar. Any obvious reason why?

  • I am the only one having issues I mentioned with the game not progressing anywhere after the first layout?

  • I've been browsing the arcade on the xbox and come across a few that will freeze up after what appears would be the first layout. I'm wondering if there's an action it isn't handling properly. Possibly the 'wait x seconds' action or something??? No idea. It's just some work and some don't and I cannot work out why. It's frustrating as both of my game don't pass the first layout.
