  • I've had a very similar problem to this with intense slowdown occurring every 30 minutes or so.

    I had found a temporary fix in which I had to close any dialogues and then minimize and then un-minimize C2.

    Before that it was just closing down C2 and restarting it.

    A few days ago I switched it so that C2 runs off of my dedicated graphics card instead of the integrated one and I don't think I've had to minimize/un-minimize since then, so I'm calling it fixed.

    I'm hoping this helps someone down the line cause this was really frustrating having to deal with this problem for years.

    I use the textured quad stuff to do shadows for my sprites, and it's pretty sweet

  • I've got a replace color effect on my sprite here, but when I paste it onto the canvas, I get something like this.

    Am I missing something that makes it paste the right colors?

  • I've been having this problem since 3 months ago; tried disabling the autosaves and messing with icon caching, but those didn't work.

    I ended up stopping the problem by minimizing C2 and then un-minimizing it.

    Still happens every 30 min or so though.

    It was incredibly annoying having to close C2 and then reopen it, but I'm okay now with just having to minimize it

    The C2 page for websockets says definitely don't use websockets for real time games.
