    I ended up implementing a double jump. The physics in the water, gives the jumps especially double jumps more air time. I think it works.

    OK I removed four updates from windows update two of them required restart, and when my Desktop restarted. I was able to fully launch Construct 2, no problem. Preview and all no errors? My laptop I checked hasn't updated yet so there is something with these updates.

    Here is a screenshot of the Win7 updates I had to remove I cant tell you exactly what one is the culprit. I will do some research into each one tho and try and find out what they are for.

    OK I resent you the Email again with a version I know to work on two PC's I own but I keep having issues on desktop? makes no sense. As I said in email I think the recent windows updates are causing the issue will try and remove them and see what happens.

    Adjusted Camera to allow better view of surroundings.

    Changed background clouds.

    Reduced size

    Increase performance

    Fixed sun

    Added alot more depth to difficulty settings.

    Ex: if (Easy) AI with gun will shoot slower, later and less accurately.

    On Hard they shoot faster sooner and more precisely. Plus take more/less damage.

    Still working on another zombie or two and a few bosses. Another level and story, I'm done. Plus College so yeah.

  • Erndog2k - hmm, it would be better if Construct 2 did something like handle it quietly rather than throw up those ugly error messages. Can you reproduce the problem in a new .capx file so I can investigate?

    After finding the problem, it wont let me reproduce it? Granted I also rolled back my system two days getting rid of any changes from Construct 2 and windows update and myself. Then reupdated windows. Also uninstalled Construct 2 and reinstalled. and changed/deleted the events that I thought was causing problem.

    I Then reloaded my broken version and it works perfectly fine????

    Maybe it was an error caused by Construct 2 v103 that was lingering until I rolled back system? Or maybe Construct 2 is so advanced its developed a personality lol

    Whatever the case its unreproducible.

    I recommend all to fully wipe old Construct 2 versions and user changes then reinstall.

  • Ok I figured out what was wrong it was my fault all along.

    I guess the previous releases just didnt detect my error in code ??? I dont know.

    I had an EVERY TICK Event set to put an object in a position that didn't exist. woops.

    just weird how its only now caused a problem. oh well fixed

  • I just tried for the last 2 hours to figure out whats wrong I deleted everything from a scene in my game all global variables and events and it still wont preview.????

    I cant get my game to preview all the time if at all anymore sad panda. When it did the game ran 60 FPS its a boost from last release and the destroy objects bug is gone. ???? now Preview is hating on me.

  • I think I got to lvl 11, then it got REAL lol, it was almost green all the time at that point was hard to see. I love the sound effects especially when you get up to speed.

    yeah on some screens if the user has the browser zoomed in or out it messes with my game I think? I'm going to make some sort of screen adjustment tool like on consoles.

    I'm so sorry about that I totally forgot to put the control to draw his pistols dunce hat on me. lol
