  • And if i want change one little thing in my game, or i want to update my game then i must pay again? Or do i pay one time per game and can compile it how often i need? My game sources and assets are save on your servers? What security system you use to protect my work?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

    1. You should not advertise another product here in the scirra forum, this is just not nice! You can do this in a general game developers forum.

    2. I would never buy this from the people that make RPG Maker, because they sell this same software since 10 years (or more) without any updates. And special a software in the fast moving area of game development should have regular updates.

  • I worked on this some time ago, but never finished it.

Because of this i will give away the WIP Platformer Rageman to the community,

you can use the code in your own projects or for learning purpose, and also use

the assets in your projects if you like. Credits would be nice.

Default it's for NW.js, so you should have it installed or change to your browser in the settings.

    Game Control:

Arrow Keys - Move left, right, Jump

    Arrow Down - Headkick

    R - Start Game

    P - Pause Game

    Alt+Enter - Switch Screen to Full/Windowed (with NW.js)

    download capx here:

  • What if one day nobody uses Windows more and only Steam OS? What if one day computers will have 3 legs and run away if you click a mouse button? What if...

We always depend on third party software and hardware! As a developer you never should depend on one solution. If one day C2 doesn't work more for you, then you need to learn another engine. That's it

  • Everything is possible somehow. You can do any kind of 2d / isometric type of game with Construct 2, if you have enough time, patience and talent, work hard and study the manuals.

  • Would be good you share some capx for we be able to help you and optimize your code.

  • Not with Construct 2, as it is 2d only. Also, Runescape (or any MMOG) is a big project with a big team behind it, nothing somebody should try to develop alone.

  • C2 is still a living and updated project, so i think your question will not be answered at the current time.

  • If you want a non-coding game builder with native exporters try this:

    https://www.buildbox.com/

It's the game makers dream for only $2,675

  • Todays consoles are mainly made for 3d graphics. 3d graphics look still good with 30 fps, but 2d games not. Old consoles, like Nintendo Snes or Sega Genesis had a framerate of 50 or 60 Hz because of this.

Also, what some people don't know, today smooth 2d graphics are often more "complicated" for the GPU than 3d graphics. Old graphic cards was optimized for 2d things like parallax scrolling, todays GPUs are optimized for 3d (like vertexes). Because of this editors like Unity seems to work smoother.

  • [quote:1zl22vj9]Hey everyone,

Every time I preview my game on my iPhone, the game is so slow. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, I only put 3 sprites. It's just a simple game..

Hmm..with posts like this i get the impression that some other 'gamemakers' are sending trolls here to talk bad about C2. Nothing personal against you and if it's not the case with you then i am sorry about what i said. But i have this feeling...

If you really need help then show your capx (the saved c2 file) and for sure somebody can help you improve your game.

  • Cynicguy Which art pack you use? Have some under this link.

Try using this tool to make a sprite sheet with all the tiles you need:

    https://www.codeandweb.com/texturepacker

If some tiles have different sizes, you need to insert the size of the smallest tile (here 8x8)

in the properties, then the bigger tiles get sliced in 4 or so parts, but it's usable.

If you say me what tiles you want use, i can help more.

  • As far as i know Farmville is a Flashgame...

  • I found this interesting project and although it is about the creation of

pen & paper roleplay game books, maybe some of you find it interesting as me.

It is a good inspirational tool for game designers and could also be used

to create some kind of manuals, special gimmicks or even a press kit

    for your games.

    Check the project out here:

  • Requests like this you better post in this forum:

Just ask an artist and give an offer how much you pay, then i think you

find somebody for sure. If you are low on cash then have a look here:
