  • Paradox,

Now Vegas sounds like a great idea, although I'm not sure my wallet could stand the strain ;)

  • Hi ,

I often use invisible sprites as spawn points, not sure if this is the method you are using?

If it is, perhaps you could add an instance variable to each spawn sprite. Then once a particular coin has been collected, update the instance var for its corresponding spawn point and save it. When you come to respawn a level, only spawn coins at spawn points where instance var is = ?.

Jeez, I've never used the word spawn so many times in a message ;)

Anyway, not sure if this will help, but it's one way you could do it!

  • Paradox,

A convoy sounds pretty cool, and 2500 miles would get you a long way in the UK.

Did you mention driving over? Now hold on a second, I'm all for helping fellow devs out when I can, but could you imagine the cost of retro fitting a car for aquatic travel? The journey would be amazing though, wouldn't it?

But still, it would be great if some of our international brothers and sisters could join us for a spot of afternoon tea! Then perhaps the meet up could be held in a new place each year (great excuse for a holiday!).   <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi REDGEAR,

Congratulations, your game is looking cool! I only had time for a short play, but it runs really smoothly. The world looks pretty expansive, so I'll try to play for a bit longer next time :)

    Good luck with it!

Edit: Just a thought, but you may want to consider changing the title slightly. Perhaps to 'Seal of the King' or 'The Seal of a King' for example. 'The Seal of King', doesn't sound quite right!

  • Hi casualevolution,

I don't think you could make a game like this right now! From what I understand the mic input cannot be used for recording sound at the moment!

    Sorry :(

  • Paradox, so does that mean we'll see you there then?   <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Sounds like a great idea, I'd be happy to come along!

  • sman118,

Nice find, thanks for the info. This could be interesting, we'll have to wait and see if they can get it right ;)

  • Hi iikii,

Not quite sure I know what you mean? But you can add many frames to a sprite. So if your intention is to display different text options from one sprite. You could just add all frames you need to that sprite, and change them as required.

    Hope that helps :)

  • Hey baleixo,

This option was only introduced in the latest C2 beta, so you'll probably need to download r140 to use it ;)

  • Tobye,

It was added to the latest release (r140), just yesterday :)

  • ludei,

We really do appreciate the hard work you put in, so thanks for all of your efforts.

  • Sulli

Sorry, I haven't used the action that much myself, so not really sure of its full capabilities.

Perhaps someone else may be able to enlighten us both ;)

  • SwordNBoard,

Your game looks really great, I love the animation style! And the concept of a child with an active imagination is fantastic. It opens up so many possibilities (if you can imagine it, you can create it).

The concept also reflects the child-like imagination and creativity a good developer needs, in order to make fun, exciting, and innovative games.

After all, who doesn't still love sitting down to watch cartoons on a Saturday morning, or helping their kids to build a fort. My daughter usually gets bored with these games long before I do. But I still keep telling everyone, I'm only playing for her sake ;)

Anyway, I hope it does really well!

  • Sulli, no problem!

Yeah, Cocoon used to have issues with the Browser object, but they've supported it successfully for a while now!
