that is the type of file construct saves to. Save your file as a single file, and upload it to dropbox or some other file sharing site. That way we can open it up to help with your issue. There could be a thousand reasons why your code is not working, but we really can't tell most of the time till we see it for ourselves.

  • I checked it out and its really cool, but I think it looks pretty complicated. Might not be a huge battalion of pros here who can help. It may take a while to figure it out. I'm thinking lots of pins.

  • California obviously cares about saving, and so do I.

If I mess up a file, I'd rather it not auto save. I would much rather be prompted. I often rely on closing a file to restore it to a point when it last functioned properly. I can only think of one cool feature that I would like to see in the image editor, but this so happens to be Cali's thread on the topic of "saving". So let us know Cali if you get your saving issue fixed.

  • Perhaps there is some sort of plug-in or something (I didn't Check).

I'm currently only aware of how to do it in js.

       a clock example.

Could be more info in the JS sdk threads.

    See if this thread helps...

  • I think I read recently that with unbounded scrolling you need to make sure your images go beyond the window boundaries. However I'm not sure I understand whats happening in your case. Any chance you can post a capx?

  • Try Construct 3

So Glad I could be of help! Now go sizzle up that sweet hickory smoked bacon, and slap it on a slab of rye, with some lettuce and tomatos!

  • It would probably help if you could possibly post a capx.

That way someone can try troubleshooting it.

  • Hi Crackpot,

Music can be a hassel at first. I always pre load my sounds and music by name, and give them tags. I believe you need to use the "tags" to stop sound. I also like to use a timer to trigger the sounds and music in a layout.

I had just opened up an example file created poster by Vee41 over here...

    scirra.com/forum/topic65059.html

I hope it is ok with them, but since I already had it opened just I added another layout to bounce back and forth from, a few more actions and music for each layout. Hopefully this may help you out.

    vee41 hope ya don't mind.

So here it is, worked in Chrome so far

  • Hi Hel,

Hey, I took a peek at your file, and i think the problem is with your image points. They all need to be in the same place throughout all the animation frames. You have a few in the top left of your images, and I think that is what is throwing it off.

  • RamPackWobble,

    Simply adorable! "Tribble larvae"!

Yeah I gave up on bending backwards (or was it over?) all the time to modify code to please I.E. However I guess they are gaining popularity...eeewwwweee! They have been a thorn in web developers sides since inception!

  • r4dicaldreamer,

That game is looking great! I think the explosions are awesome yet a bit over done. Seem to slow things down a bit too much, and make it to hard to see where your at. Your graphics and colors look real good.

  • Crackpot,

Looks like a great game your working on there!
