  • The game looks really fun, but I'm not a facebook user. The last time I read facebooks terms of use it said they pretty much own the content you post. I wonder if that is the case with games as well. Anyway, sorry for rambling a bit, but is there any other places to try out your game besides facebook?

    I just posted my first game to the arcade, and I'm not really sure if the touch controls work (I don't have any touch devices). All you have to do is touch a magic shell when it is the same color as the turtle. The shell should be destroyed.New Game

    Can anyone let me know if I implemented the touch activation correctly?

  • I think it would be awesome to be able to integrate a midi keyboard into the system. My son is dabbling in electronics and is tossing around the idea. The possibilities are endless with that type of set up. You would be able to set up music tutorials, and create games based on notes and chords played. I would love to have an art program set up to accept regular commands from a midi keyboard.

    I took notice of your point a while back as well. It seems that although there is all kinds of tech help and discussion about the newest wrappers etc. there seems to be a glut in the community spirit around here. I suppose that might be why I get so ticked when forum members are rude to noobs etc. One problem for me, as far as trying out others games is that I simply can't. Most games in the Scirra Arcade will neither play for me in Chrome or FF. I live high up on the top of hill with slow DSL. I'm not sure if that's why or not, but I wish I could try out more games. There are also various areas scattered throughout the forums where members post there ideas ans wips. Perhaps it would help to set one aside in particular for those seeking feedback on their creations.

    In general though I have to agree with you on your observations. Humans are turning into narcissistic zombie cowboys.

  • There have been a few occasions when I've had to clear out Chrome's cache and complete history to display new changes to my game. I wonder if that was your issue as well. Did you make any browser changes?

    But white claws actually has a very firm grip on the English language. He is also very aware that his attitude is offending people. Despite being warned he still persists. That's quite sweet that you are so forgiving, however new forum members may not be as forgiving as you. They may be offended, and they may never come back. This is no time in this software's phase of development to be chasing off customers. I'd suggest that if he wants to stay he can simply answer peoples questions yet leave his sarcastic commentary and his exclamation points to his self.
