  • Same here... Some will not work for me in FF or Chrome. Same as Jonnhy10...

    just a gray screen.

  • Ashley and Tom,

This is an open request to have Whiteclaws banned from the forums for good.

He has not complied with members requests to behave with civility.

  • Hi Killey,

I sampled your file, and all of the animations were working fine on my end. Are you still having problems?

  • Hi perezbalen,

I'm not sure if you have seen this manual entry...

    scirra.com/manual/48/image-and-animations-editor

but it might have the answers you want. You can have mant different anims for a sprite. When editing in the image editor, an animations box pops up, you right click in there to add an animation. When you click on the anims in that promt box you can edit each anims frames individually. The first prompt to add a sprite allows you to only add one frame, but once that sprite is added you can right click in the frames editor and import a bunch at one time. I keep all frames for each anim in a single file folder, so they are easier to dump into the image editor. Not sure if any of this is a help to you. Check out a few more tutes, I think its covered here and there...good luck!

  • I totally agree with the idea of color highlight options. I think it would be nice to be able to color code events and objects. My coding is still extremely amitureish, but I put together a little example of a few things that would be helpful. My logic for the color coding option, is that you do not have to read colors, they are in your face when they hit the screen. No searching through text. I imagine on a huge project this could be very helpful. I made the example with on the fly toggles for events and actions (but they barely work in the example. I also made it so if you hover over an object (in this case the monster) it highlights it throughout the page. I also thought it would be nice to have a little doc for panels that get used the most. On my example you can adjust the colors in the first event. I could spend some time working on the code so it preforms like it should, but meh. Enough time spent already.

  • I agree with Digi. However I would not gamble too much time or money on an idea that is too far out. Unless people start imagining innovative concepts and experimenting...everything looks pretty much the same. To me brilliance lies in coming up with a new ideas, and has nothing to do with cloning an old ones.

  • Fun!

If it sells I'll go ride a huge roller coaster...even funner!

  • I don't have a facebook account. Any other way of viewing the game?

  • Great project! Let us know what your teacher thinks of it.

  • Actually I was having the same problem with this. Same with fade I could get an object to fade in when I wanted but not "in" and "out". So that is a good question!

  • Ashley and Tom,

This has gone on too long its time to remove Whiteclaws from the community!

  • I'm not really jazzed by their terms. Sounds to me like blatant exploitation. Heck I wont even touch a job without a deposit. Let alone just give away my work like that. That's the main reason I stay the hell away from facebook. I wonder how many facebook users have actually read through the terms of service thoroughly. Sounds to me like they are just casting their nets for game ideas to exploit.

  • Perhaps since EgoAnt started this thread he can pick the first topic or challenge. How about it EgoAnt? Throw something at us!

  • Rally Nice Stuff!!!! Absolutely LOVE 4:16 to 5:50 on your "Vortex" sample track. Pretty Brilliant. I Want to use it! I want to design a game around that piece of music.
