Midi Input

Hello, I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility in a future release to support MIDI keyboard input (Not sure if this is possible with HTML5?)

Although it will not be useful to everyone, some cool things could be done with it, Music games spring to mind as well as software like Synthesia, the teach yourself Piano program.

I don't believe that is supported in HTML5/browsers.

The gamepad support is hardly working already, let alone for "older" controllers like MIDI keyboards.

Maybe later, with a USB midi keyboard, hoping the gamepad support would be wider and would support pretty much any type of controller, maybe it could be possible.

It might also require a specific plugin for C2 though, hard to say.

For now though, I believe it's just out of the picture.

midi(-input) would be awesome!

There's a W3C working draft documenting planned MIDI support, but expect it to take a while before it's available in mainstream browsers:
