  • It seems that the jumpthru behavior acts as solid when the platform control isnt jumping. Anyone else experience this?

    As simple test is to make a jumpthru slope (45 degree angle single pixel thick line) and then a normal jumpthru platform (mines 16x16 stretched to 16x64) Make the platform meet the top of the slope and then walk up the slope and youll see that when the top of the player hits the platform its solid and you slide against it and thru the slope. If you jump it acts as expected.

    Anyone know any work arounds besides not having jumpthru platforms at the top of slopes?

  • I dont see the lack of multiplayer as a downside. Its somethin that really HAS to be tackled by each game as its needed not some universal catch all that can be or should be made part of c2

  • are you talkin about having image points and origins outside the actual image? Thatd mean when you crop it of course its going to be outside the new area of the image and thats not valid no matter how you look at it. To have something like that outside of the actual area of the sprite of course your gonna have to have blank empty space around it

  • Ive had it happen if somethin turns off Aero while c2 is open too

  • yeah if your lookin to do somethin like that you need your character in different parts. Atleast a top and a bottom. Then they can be animated independently of each other

  • isnt post data hidden? I mean you may see the link to the php file but it doesnt actually show the data in the url like get does

  • the best approach would be to have an invisible solid block you can put where ever you want to make things solid. Then your river is just graphics you put where you want. The parts that need to be solid you put the invisible solid block on.

    Then you have a fully customizable approach to ANY situation where somethin needs to be solid

  • so for that to work wouldnt you have to put your ip in for the allowed site? Would that also mean c2 would have to run in preview on lan mode instead of just local.

    Im thinkin about it so I can test from preview but its kinda seemin like more hassle than its worth vs just copyin over a file or two on export in filezilla

  • int(value) if its not just a number it should return 0 or some form of invalid I believe. Dont hold me to that tho lol

  • you cant set the general font options in the texts font in c2? O_o

  • will setting the animation speed to negative play it backwards in c2?

  • doesnt that mean any site can then call your page? That could be really really bad for php

    Thats the first thing I thought of as soon as I found out it was runnin android. I said in another post somewhere else that if nothing else it will be THE console for emulation

  • if your making games then you cant go wrong to read ANYTHING related to game design. Theres no reason not to read and learn from everything you can
