  • If anyone still struggling to import the files to C3, first make sure you tick all of this in File > Other file actions > Custom Save Options > and hit apply

    After that make sure the entity name is not a generated one entity_000, and rename it to what you want, ie Player

    And then you can Save Project As > .scon not .scml (Make sure the file name is the same as the entity name. (Note. if you already had the same .scon file, don't overwrite it, delete it first.)

    And to zip it, you need to select all of the files not with the scml, and then right-click on the .scon file (IMPORTANT) and you can start .zip from there.

    After that, open your C3, open the layout for importing this, and make sure the layout is already connected with the event sheet (IMPORTANT). And just drag and drop the zip file into the layout canvas, and don't do anything until it's done. (Note. if you already had the same animation before, you need to delete the former event before importing a new one)

  • make sure you've ticked all of the options on Files > Other files action > Custom save action > tick all of them.

  • I'm not sure how many of the potential clients we met, are having a bad experience using Construct 3 for their game technology, they talked about general but unfixable problems like Blackscreen on Older Devices, lagging issues, and so on.

    They're freaking out when knowing if we're using Construct 3 as our main engine and suggest using Phaser or Godot or any other HTML5 with more stable and real supporting all older devices.

    The problem is really happening since long time ago, but it seems that there is nothing to do from our end as the Construct 3 users. Or maybe I just don't know how to fix it? How about you guys? Have you also met clients for the same reasons?

  • When we are exporting the game to HTML5, we could see a script file register-sw.js, with or without setting the Worker to YES.

    It loads by default, and my question is, are there any differences between them?

  • thats the problem, every time on start of layout the value of rotation will be accumulation from rotation value before restart layout

  • there is no expresion default camera rotation for X and Y just Z in there, any advice?

  • i though there is problem in 3D camera rotation, the issue came when you already rotate 3D camera and then restart the layout with action system > restart, the 3D camera rotation will not reset, how can i reset the rotation like i start layout in the beginning ??
