    I have just compiled my game, uploaded to Google Play and downloaded it on my phone. But it does not display in full screen; it only displays on the top corner of my screen.

    Firstly, please never upload any untested apk files to Google Play. You can use the Developer App to run your game and test it.

    Can you send a link of your game, so that I can see what the problem is?

  • The tutorials page works fine now, but the Vistor Counter were set back to 0 after the Database issue..

  • I exported my Construct 2 game to Cordava successfully, delete the config.xml and intel.xml thing, got the cocoon_box2d file and edit it in the index.html file, just as is instructed in the Tutorial. I followed the https://shatter-box.com/knowledgebase/c ... document-7 tutorial here.

    I uploaded it to cocoon.io, unistalled Whitelist and added my inapp/PlayGame plugins and compiled it successfully.

    After uploading the APK in the Google Play store, I published the app. Then I downloaded the game from the store, but it just displays the Cocoon logo and a black screen. This is the tenth time I've edited this app from some suggestions/fixes I find in other people's posts on here, but mine still does not work.

    I really am confused, and would like some help, please.

    I would recommend you to compile a Developer App for your project. Then you can run the cordova expored zipped file. Moreover you can enter the console and see what the black screen has caused.

    Otherwise I can't say from here, what your issue is.

    You can also send me your capx file in a PM, then I'll check it on my end.

    I've started playing a bit with CocoonIO and got most of it working. But for some reason a few sprites doesn't load in-game so instead black boxes are shown. Any ideas why some sprites doesn't show up after I have compiled with CocoonIO?

  • Thank Andy. Your links are very helpful. I will work more with Cocoon to get closer to plugins and Splash Screen. But I feel Unity has more reasonable and lower price than Cocoon which I can afford to pay for Unity any time. And my Unity game runs very smooth and no bugs with Unity Splash Screen inside the game.

    P/S: I owned a C2 license. I posted the image of my license. I'm ready to pay any reasonable price what should need for my games ^ ^

    Because I'm not the smartest person haha, and I was following a tutorial that did it that way. I've since deleted the code and am looking at tutorials on the site to help me with it. If I have more problems, I'll post again later. Thanks for the tip!

    Hi. I tried to publish my Android mobile game using with CocoonIO Canvas+ in 2 days. These my opinions about Cocoonio, I never build successfully a Cocoon game in the past, now I gave it a try and very suprised about it. Please forgive me if I'm wrong because I'm very new with Cocoon features.

    *** First I give my good review about CocoonIO helped my games:

    - The Canvas+ runs very fast and no crash in my games which can't run on low devices if I builded them with Intel XDK.

    - There are a lot of interesting multiplayer Plugins as Googlplay Multiplayer and GameCenter Multiplayer ...

    - Easy to use in website Cocoon.io

    I'm not sure where you have found the Multiplayer Plugins? But yes, CocoonIO offers the GPG Multiplayer, but it's not included in the CocoonGooglePlayGames C2 plugin yet.

    With the rest I have to agree with you <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink">

    *** Then I have some suggest, please fix it :

    - Splash screen and the price are too high and unreasonable

    . The price to remove Cocoon splash screen is too too high, my game is published over 2 years but it can't earn $500 until now.

    . I'm very happy to keep the Cocoon splash screen, but there are too many bugs and black screen after plash screen (6-7 seconds in my game) becuase of this splash screen, and too many works to fix it run well on games. Too many people have this problem.

    => Please give us the very low one time charge for the subscription of Cocoon (about $100 / year and they have to one-time-pay more money if a project earned more than $5000 as C2 license ) to use full features of splash screen and there are no more bugs of Cocoon Splash screen or Splash screen.

    That's not up to me & the splash removal is a fair price. I know that 500$ are a lot for people in other countries, but compared to Unity (where you need a Pro license to remove the splash) it's very inexpensive.

    The same applies to the prices of the plans. Ludei is working hard, and the silver plan is all but not expensive (for what you get).

    The developer account for apple is more expensive...

    And the bugs you mentioned aren't coming from the Cocoon Splash. It's mostly a missconfiguration, but more to that later.

    - Problems Compatible plugins of C2 and CocoonIO :

    . There are plugins made the published Cocoon game crashed (somtimes Facebook Connect in my game ) and Black screen (Cocoon plugins in C2 as Cocoon ads , Cocoon Canvas plus in my game. Always Blackscreen If I added these plugins in my game)

    . It's very difficult to find working plugins as Admob, IAP, Facebook Connect. In the future they need Multiplayers WebRTC as well (This feature has been voted on the top in the survey poll )

    => Please fix these popular plugins . I love using Cranberry plugins , because they are easy to use and popular. Or some sites guide us to use all these popular working stable plugins (Admob, IAP, Facebook Connect).

    All offical Cocoon Plugins are working fine. If you install the Cocoon Plugins in your c2 project you MUST install them also in the Cocoon project. Otherwise you get the black screen error! I'm working together with ludei to provide free test projects, and so I did for the most plugins available. I'm also in touch with cranberrygame , so that his awesome plugins work with cocoon.io, too.

    If you facing any troubles, you can always post and report them in the cocoon forum. Keep in mind to provide as many information as possible along with a test file, so that we can reporduce the same issue you're facing.

    - Uploading and publishing on Cocoon.io :

    . It's take too long for queuing and building

    . Everytime I update sources code, I have to set up everythings again (name of the game, versions, plugins ....)

    => Please fix it if people pay the subscription with a reasonable price I mentioned above.

    If you build in the rush hour with a free plan, yes it can take longer sometimes. But you can compile a Developer App, so you can run your Cordova Exports directly without building them new after each change. When you feel ready, build the last cordova export to an apk file.

    This will speed your developing process up.

    You need to delete the config.xml file and the "...additional.xml" file BEFORE you zip the Crodova Export. I mentioned that in my guide.

    Otherwise it will overwrite your existing config.xml file! That's not a bug.

    Nothing is free <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink"> And as I can see you don't own a c2 license (no badge). If you want to earn money and develop Android games, you need at least the Personal Version.

  • Because the last post was on the 6th and it's relatively new and I'm having a problem, I thought I'd ask here.

    My game on mobile saves the high score as long as I don't close the app. If I open the app again, the high score is reset to 0.

    I have the system setting the localHighScore variable to the score and setting the item to a str(localHighScore) when the game ends. When the game starts, I have a preloader set the localHighScore to int(LocalStorage.ItemValue).

    Does that make sense? If I need to show a screen grab or something I can try to do that.

  • AndreasR Please mention Ludei to implement Multiplayer Webrtc in ^ ^, one of my game doesn't work because of it. But I think that one is coming very soon in Cocoon Cheers

    ludei has started a survey to see what there users want and so on. You should have got a mail from cocoon with the link to the survey.

    Sorry but it's not up to me, but to ludei.
