8 points, for each vertex. and then attaching each of the 6 meshes for the faces, so only 14 objects, which are all instances of only 2 different sprites.

dropbox seems to be down, as you can see alot of stuff hosted on it is down, even pictures ect.

it uses the same tech as bomb model, infact its less complicated since it doesnt wrap a mesh around the sphereoid that is spawned (the swirl of points) or in the bomb's case, a round bomb body

This will really give me hope, it seems 3D backgrounds were the only thing this engine didnt have that I wanted.

Even if making really complex thing with this, including collisions, would be too difficult, this could at least be used for some great backgrounds/foregrounds.
