I got only ~45,000 piggies on my desktop (chrome, fullscreen) with Ryzen 3700x, GTX 1080ti, 3440x1440 display. Though lowering it to 1920x1080 got me 50,000.
My crappy 6 year old (intel) laptop, however, got 150,000 piggies. Ehhh???
Inherited variable groups are awesome. Thanks guys!
It would be very helpful to get them in the expression dictionary as well, however. Currently there's no tag or group at all for inherited variables there.
Oh man, I never expected to get framerate modes back from the CC days. I found them especially helpful for exposing certain race conditions. Also loving the editor improvements as of late! Keep it up, guys!
The dark theme / editor is so much more responsive now due to the cursor updates. I've enabled editor fx/animations for the first time ever. Thank you for looking into it Ashley!
Ah, right. Thank you.
With local file i/o in the browser, does this mean C3 Desktop version will be going the way of the dodo? I suppose that's all it was really good for, right?
This is a good alternative to the default dark theme free of unnecessary padding in the event editor, high contrast, and slightly less performance issues. Keep it up!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lissajous_curve I mention it for mostly for these. I don't suspect a lot of people to be making them, but it's good to have the option and I have a few in my game that I wouldn't mind switching to a behavior for. Not a huge deal if it can't be implemented, it's not too much trouble with events.
Great update! Love the search bar. The orbit behavior would greatly benefit from separate X Speed and Y Speed though. We'd be able to do much more than just circles/ovals.
Thank you!! Sorry for being a pain in the butt about some of these.
I made a feature suggestion as Ashley said. Go upvote!
This was the case in CC, C2, and C3 for 8+ years. I think it's kind of insane to assume it's not important. What if we want to change things like, say, an enemy's HP? Or behavior parameters for a certain object? How about its effects? Removing project-wide property editing is detrimental to workflow and consistency. Will file a suggestion...
So then, forgive me if I'm missing something, but how are we supposed to change properties for an object project-wide?
""Selecting objects in the Project Bar with no instances in the current Layout View no longer selects instances from across the whole project (avoids unexpected results changing properties in this case)""
But isn't this the only way we can change properties of all instances of an object project-wide? I don't believe that's a rare thing to do.
Whoops! Little oversight with that movement state there. He won't switch to another state until he's above you, but he can't be when you're at the very top of the room. Will have it fixed asap!
