  • Hey, try saving your privacy policy document as a PDF file on google drive, then share the link for the pdf as the link for your privacy policy. Make sure the link is set as viewable by "anyone with the link" (but no editable). Works for me. It is also a good idea to actually read that privacy policy you generated from a random website, you can make some editing if relevant.

Then for your Ad situation, you have told Play Store that your app is suitable for children, then you must make sure that the ads on your AdMob account are also configured for that age range.

On you AdMob account, go to APP, choose the app in question, and go to BLOCKING CONTROLS. Have you explored this section of admob? It is really important.

Go to SENSITE CATEGORIES and make sure they are all disable if because none of them will be accepted by play store if you target children. Even ads like TIK TOK cannot be showed to kids... I have learned that the hard way.

You can also explore GENERAL CATEGORIES and see if there is any other category you want/need to hide.

The easiest way is actually just going to AD CONTENT RATING and changing the audience target, like this:

but be aware that decreasing the suitable-age target on admob can decrease your revenue ($)... So I give you 2 suggestions to find a balance:

ON the Play Developer Console, on the left menu go to Policy > App Content:

find CONTENT RATING and take a new test, this time check at least a couple of boxes like "my app has mild offensive language, mild violence, reference to farts... etc etc" this is just to change your app from being rated for ALL ages (like 4 year old kids) to kids over 10, or 12, or 14, depending on how you do the test. You can redo this test as much as needed. This will mostly not affect your downloads, since most kids dont have parental guidance anyway, but then the play store will tolerate Ads for older ages, like ads with references to kissing etc... (TIK TOK ads are for teens). THIS IS THE NICE GOOD GUY WAY OF DOING IT

NOW, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY SMART AND RISKY, DO THIS:

On AdMob, change your Ad Content Rating to GENERAL AUDIENCES (everyone) and then send you app update for the store. WAIT FOR IT TO BE APPROVED AND PUBLISHED, then you can go back to AdMob and change your Ad audience back to MATURE or TEENS if you like. Usually the person that reviews your app update on the store just needs to see the situation at that given time, once its published you can change the ads and relax, but be aware at random your app might be reviewed again and that update be suspended or something... So its a better idea to mix these 2 solutions I gave you.

I see that most of my revenue comes from Video Games ads, but lots of these ads show first-person shooter, etc, not really approved for kids. So I try to keep a rating of 10+ (age) or 14+, just so I can keep showing these profitable ads, even if my game is suitable for smaller children...

    Hope this helps

    quick edit:

indeed you dropbox link is fuc*kd up, you might have been lucky so far but no one else can access the privacy policy with the link you provided, your privacy policy must be ready to read once the link is clicked. convert easily to PDF with google docs and share the direct link for that file

  • I would also enjoy an Appodeal plugin... I think Appodeal had their own custom made plugin for Construct 2, I used it in 2017 but they stopped with personalized support for construct... too bad..

I remember AdMob was still the best paying network and the pay was cashed directly with admob, but admob is full of shady (sh**tty) policies and they will place ad serving limits anytime withouth explaning anything... So I guess Appodeal is a good turnaround to keep serving ads when this happens.

The best part of Appodeal as their support, talking to real humans and they were very attentive even when my apps had very few downloads...

Please give us an Appodeal plugin for a cool price.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I just got the Ad Serving Limit warning without any other information, google says my account will be reviewed and the process usually takes a month but can take longer. My revenue dropped 95%...

I see that this is a rather common issue that bothers developers. I dont self click or place ads to mislead users... I dont know what I could do to improve and fix the issue since I dont know what the issue is and the policy list is too generic and wide.

Anyone who went through this? Were you able to fix it or just had to wait? How long? Any advice?

Does anyone use mediation that doesnt required SDK? I dont know how to ad third-party SDKs in C3...

    Any light is appreciated.

    Thanks

  • oh , I see, that is a solution, but not good if you have lots of sprites with that behavior, I guess... I think the debugger should be complete, checking every feature C3 makes available...

    thank you

  • R0J0hound thank you, noted! you may delete your post :)

  • I think lots and lots of people who were struggling to get a "steady" and strong, natural, rope, were actually just looking for these "visual effects", they are amazing.

Yes I have removed last post because it was irrelevant already, I was changing the "mass" value of the weight and nothing was happening, but then I changed something else in the math events and got the gravity I wanted.

Could I contact you directly maybe just for some key questions? DM or email? You're the one that can help me out, and have already

  • R0J0hound can't believe there's no Physics behavior involved... this is genius... far from my understanding, but I'll try to tweak it up

  • R0J0hound Man I think that was the best example to show up so far here in the Forum! Thanks a lot! That is just perfect, I will try to adjust it so the physics are like less gravity, but from what I saw the rope has a very natural swing and looks unbreakable, doesnt matter how much the square moves. Thanks again

dop2000 its a very old japanese game, cannot find anymore online,I have kept the file since I was a teen

  • I am having this problem, with Interstitial you can create the ad just once and show it multiple times without having to create it again

That does not seem to be the same with Banners... Once you Hide a Banner it seems to be destroyed forever, cannot call it to Show again cause it wont, but Interstitial would!

So I have added "create banner advert" on start of every layout, and show when the level is completed, but since players can restart the layout without completing it, it is requesting too many banners and the match rate on admob has gone from 90% to 24%.... impressions have dropped significantly and the banner wont show anymore even if I close the game and run it from start, admob simply flags it...

Im trying to do this with "large" size banner and it behaves like that, but when using smart-fit size, it seems that I can create the banner just once and use it multiple times just like interstial...

Im kinda lost, just testing over and over app bundles until it is right...

  • I'm trying to reproduce a game I used to play on pc in the 90's... very simple 2mb.exe, I don't think they used very complicated features for that game...

maybe I could send the game for you or someone that could try it and compare to C3 features?

  • thank you for the info dop2000 I'll try some more testing...

I dont want a straight line, it has to move according to the hook, it can form curves but should never break, the hook will be light and should bounce around under water in a low gravity state and also be pulled by the line, which is attached to the boat, and move around from the tangle. Should all be a natural movement...

When a buttom is pressed, the hook would Pin whatever sprite is in contact with it, and force up to be applied to the hooked sprite can fly up to the boat...

i can picture clearly in my head, but cannot reproduce it...

  • I found this bungee jump example that is a bit more of what I have in mind, but the rope be made of around 20 dots or more... and they all are connected

this example someone created join for each part of the rope, only 3 parts, but that would be 20 or more actions for me...

    construct.net/out

  • Hi, so I did search the forum here and there are lots of topics about it, but all examples I found the rope goes crazy depending on the distance:

I actually would like to create something like a fishing line attached to a boat, or fisherman on a boa, the boat moves left/right, the line can be little dots connected together in a rope swing style, it doesnt really need to look like a real line, and there's the hook at the end of the line,

the hook and the line should move along with the boat pulling the line, but in a 0 zero gravity under water like environment...

the line should have some elastic stretch-slack but alwaus return slowing to the minimum distance...

anyone kind enough to make an example?

  • Hi, can anyone help me find out how to use the PIN behavior to create a ROPE, but make it with physics? I got a little close to it the project below:

    drive.google.com/file/d/19RnBaYDcR0FaG10uR_3VijwDR3H2lA-R/view

(use left/right to move the main block)

But it seems like the pinned objects will only "remember" physics when the Main object they are attached to is moving... I'd like to have a rope with natural swing effects, with this weight on the tip, like a chain holding a wrecking ball.

Please check my .c3p file and give me some light

    Thank you
