Ashley: You should really think about making a Construct Pro Version for 999,- for all this people that want native exporters so badly!

And please, if somebody wanna argue now that Unity is free..look first the history of this company, for how long they sold their exporters for a good price, before they could afford giving it away for free...

I use the Steam edition too on a Win 8 system, but your issue never happend to me...very strange. You see the C2 app in your task manager when this happens?

It's totally possible that NW.js has something to do with it. I remember a year or so ago when i made online games that the colors looked different in Internet Explorer than in Firefox or Chrome.

Gianmichele: Haxe is a nice language and i think it has potential, but even it is said to be crossplatform because you can compile in many different languages (like CPP/C#/JS...), it doesn't support the same features on every platform or with every language. So while in theory you can compile to every platform, it doesn't mean your game will run equal or with the same features on every platform.

Für eine jüngere Zielgruppe/Kinder wären gute deutschsprachige Tutorials sicherlich wichtig, da ausreichende Englischkenntnisse vielleicht noch nicht vorhanden sind (Fachbegriffe). Und gerade C2 bietet sich zum Einstieg in die Programmierung an. Für ältere Leute besteht, denke ich, so gut wie kein Bedarf, da die meisten Programmierer

gute Englischkenntnisse haben (sollten ).

Update: Player movement is a lot smoother now, added some shadows to walls and ground and a cornered wall (z-ordering get's a bit more complicated with this )

Wow, this is really one of the better games i see here so far. I love the art style, the background music and sfx fit perfect. I will follow your project and test the game more intense. But in my opinion you should def. complete this game! It's a great job you do.

The only thing i did not understand now when i was testing is why i can turn with the arrow keys but not move?

This question was asked many times already, so please use the search function and you will find enough information about this topic. And the best is to find out and test it for yourself. There is a free edition of C2, that comes with many examples.
