  • I want to be able to clip a blood splatter in my sidescrolling game so that the sprite isnt hanging off the edge. i want it so that the part thats not colliding with anything is clipped away and deleted.

    I am making a survival game, with buildings and i want them to be destructable. I am wondering how I would group together blocks, and then when a peice of that group is disconnected from the rest of the worlds blocks, all associated blocks are destroyed

    example:

    I really need help. I've spent the last two days trying to figure this out. I would really like a really in depth explanation, or maybe even a capx, Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • My approach would be to use multiple behaviors on the blocks. Like the video, I would use physics in combination with pin behaviors. When a block is removed and the Y position of any block changes, pin can be disabled and physics can be enabled. It also depends on the specifics of your game.

    I dont get when the y position changes. How would it change if physics isnt enabled

  • I am making a sidescrolling survival game, where you build shelter from materials around you, and i want to implement destrucion, like when a group of blocks are disconected and suspended above nothing, it activates physics, and they all fall.

  • I wanna be able to bounce off an enemies head(like in mario) i already tried

    on collision ------> simulate control jump.

    doesnt work. Any other ways to do this. i made it so when i jump on the enemies head it kills them but want to add bouncing for combos.

    I need someone to add multiplayer support so that you can play on your computer with someone else on another computer. Ideally, it would be nice if after you click on the start button, it would take you to another layout with two buttons, one that says Local, and another that says online. If you click local it takes you to the layout I have now. If you click online it takes you to a different layout, finds another person, connects you two, decides the host, plays the game, then once the game is over disconnects you two and takes you back to the menu.

  • I have a game that is 512x256. Is there a way so that when I export it and upload it to a website, it can expand the game window to 1024x512. I see it can go in fullscreen, but I want it just a little smaller.

  • I am trying to make a fighting game and i want buildings to fall apart when a whole chunk of it is seperated from the rest of the blocks. A good example is King Arthurs Gold. look it up to get a basic idea.
