    I'm trying to recreate this style of boss from Sonic and Knuckles. How can I get the limbs to animate in a similar way?

    TentaCat: The Lost Lineage is a 16-bit style platformer where you play as Aqua, an octopus cat who was raised by a scientist in a lab, and has never seen another one of his own kind. Together, Aqua and the scientist known as Dr. Schenkenberg, go on an adventure to find more of the mysterious TentaCats.

    This is a demo for my first game project, which I started back in March of 2018. Please look forward to updates to the game as I continue development.

    Demo Features:

    • 3 Playable levels.
    • Lots of items to collect.
    • Item shop where you can buy power-ups.

    CONTROLS:

    Use the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, X to shoot, and Enter for the inventory. Gamepads are supported.

    For curiosity, for the battle, is it always set for the Red Cyclops to attack because in the demo the red as only attacking. This is just a suggestion, but can you make all the enemies attack, after the player's turn (Like I've said this is just a suggestion)

    Yeah I plan on addressing that in a future update. Also, I'd like to try your game once it comes out. It looks like a lot of fun!

  • Make sure your fullscreen mode setting is set to letterbox integer scale in your project properties.

  • I uploaded my game in Construct Arcade and it's displaying weirdly. My game's aspect ratio is 16:9, but it's not filling in the player.
