Because I don't want to have to learn coding! I like the interface and it lets me focus on my strong points more - art and music.
Um, instead of moving on to C3, how about integrating any upgrades into C2 so my $135 isn't thrown away.
BTW - thanks for this guide - works great!
OK, got it. Thanks.
TiAm - thank you.
Question - I'm using C2 64bit version for windows 8. Would I experience any problems by instead running C2 32bit in order to use NW 10.5? Thanks.
Those advanced features are excellent and easy to use! Already using 2 of 3.
It also depends on what platform you're aiming at. For mobile games, you can probably have a lower resolution. 16x9 is a good aspect ratio because you can also scale it to fit other ratios. Full HD (1920x1080 pixels) is a very good high resolution but will demand more processor power to run so I would probably only use that if you're aiming at high end computers. For mobile gaming, something smaller like 1024x576 would probably work. Here is a list of 16x9 ratios: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16:9. Also, it's possible to allow the user to change resolutions in case they have a device that isn't performing well. Details in these tutorials I posted:

Is there a way to detect the resolution of the device your game is being played on? Thanks, Morgan.
lucid - the reason I keep requesting that feature is that I could, for example, apply the hue effect to specific instances, easily giving much more variety in appearance to my spriter animations in C2.
In my game, "Psi," I have hidden bonus rooms off of the main level. How do I save what's going on in the main level and return to it when the bonus room is exited? Thanks, Morgan.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
lucid - have you further considered making it so that effects can be applied via the spriter object itself?
