  • A graphic would help understand better. If I get your meaning, I would make the 6 sprites part of a family, and use the family to set the movement in unison. like using Rex's "Move to" plugin for specific movements. As far as the rotation goes, I would make the 6 sprites animations to handle the rotation and set collision properties for each frame of the animation.

  • I'm not sure what exactly the problem is that you are having. Have you considered using sprite fonts?

  • Well, the size seems a bit large to be scaling down. Doing so uses more memory. Try resizing the images to the correct size so C2 doesn't have to. I've found similar issues when scaling down, even just a little.

  • You need to do a search in the tutorials. There is a tutorial that covers using Admob.

  • It was just luck. I happened to see your post. My eye is attuned the words "The Big List". Sorry, I don't know when I'll have an opportunity to get it on the store. I just got my new website up and I'm back logged with work. Could be a few weeks.

  • Your not going to be able to accomplish it. At least not in the way your doing it. The problem is the spawned position(coordinates) is always going to be a different coordinates on the UI layer. It's basically a parallax issue. I've tried to make a work around for his but without luck. You can sometimes get close, but not exact. If you or some one else, do come up with a solution, I'll be interested in seeing it

  • Take a look at the endless runner example that comes with C2. It's a better way to do scrolling background. You wont get the hesitation.

  • Rex makes a plugin "Rex - Date & time" that can get the system date and time.

  • Hi, the EBook (The Big List HTML5 Edition) is still the current edition. If you purchase through the Scirra store, you can download updates from the store as they come available. If you purchase from my website, updates go out by email. I generally try to update it monthly. I hope to have a new update out by the end of the week. I haven't had an opportunity to finish the listing on the Scirra store for the Full Edition yet.

  • Do you have a layout for the end of game? A layout that shows "Game Over" options? You could load the ad when the end of game layout. Your really need to provide more details.

  • You should consider using sprite fonts.
