  • No more grey text but blue text with the new version of the demo post this afternoon ... don't forget to refresh your page empty cache etc ...

Test on dropbox with my vista pc + FF12/FF15beta/Chrome 19.0.1084.52 m ... all seems to work so seems to be a real mistake ! perhaps a firewall blocking problem or a laggy server ... 3D scene is loaded using the last "files" C2 R92 feature so it's almost like url loading files.

  • A new release for my copperlicht demo will be update in 10 minutes (same link as before) ... it's using some cool new features add by Juantar in his last copperlicht plugin version (2 june).

    Changes :

++ Now a green cube is created on the target area ... notice the effect when on and thru the grid of the new moving door. Good news for future shooting features !

+ Coppercube managed now the gravity

    ++ Add a Crouch/JUMP mode ... try JUMP it's fun ;-p

+ Alter speed move depending on movement type and add walking effect.

~ Always some engine "native" collision bugs sometimes specially in stairs, unwanted bounces against ceiling too ... difficult to find a 100% bug free setting ;-(

(@juantar) ;-p : i have used only the new features that i could make work !) collision responder make engine crash !

    Enjoy !

  • I think such as Bolosaur you need fresh ideas ... adapt a system to a concept and not use classic rpg ones again and again.

An example : making a aquatic rpg ... in classic rpg you die if staying too long in water but here this is reverse ..., all characters and creatures all live in water, so going to surface = dying ... it's just a idea like another to show the "concept" importance ...

Not really large, it can make some time to load sometimes but with last chrome or last firefox, users should not have problems using webgl and so this demo.

The only problem i found is a Iphone4 last iOS webgl enabled Iphone which doesn't load the webgl part of this demo.

Verify please if your "webgl feature is enabled" in chrome using the following syntax in adress bar

    chrome://flags/

and test webgl using this link -> tutorial 6 - copperlicht, i use the same example in my demo.

  • thanks !

I use a standard free cam with no control in coppercube (all is C2 control) but the cam is embelled in a CubeMesh with "collide when moved" behaviour .... after 50 attempts it works ! ... i will give you a link to my coppercube project (in PM) for better understanding.

Yes ! good news we really need a collision responder too ! ... also something to move/throws objects such as the cube in tutorial 6 (my example) of copperlicht sdk if possible !

I also try to adapt your plugin to ie using ie_webgl/copperlicht_iewegl.js but no success this time .. i'm probably too novice !

  • Hello guys !

I use the wonderfull C2 plugin from Juantar to make this little 3D demo.

You need a compatible webgl browser (firefox, chrome ...) ... also a keyboard and a mouse with wheel ... support "WASD" (qwerty) and ZQSD (azerty) keyboard settings.

Access to the demo Here !

Please report bugs etc etc .. !

    ENjoy !

  • ok, all seems ok now so ... my copperlicht demo is Here !

    Good tests !

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I finally succeed in use of "collide when moved" build in copperlicht features AND C2 full control user input ... so no need using "walls" ;-).

I want now to make you discover my work but have a small problem ... R92 import files features make load .ccbjs scene work in preview mode but ... now it's impossible to make an exporting project load the .ccbjs ... black output windows always ...

EDIT (Stupid i am sorry, it works if minify script is not checked when exporting project ...)

  • With the new "files" import feature in C2 it's now possible to test copperlicht plugin without exporting the project, simply import all files from "copperlichtdata" folder and load scene with a load scene "/nameofscene.ccbjs".

I try to create something with your plugin but have lot of problem managing camera/target collide settings with a full C2 managed camera ... but i have not yet use your "walls" so ... do you think it will possible with "walls" to managed a C2 camera climbing stairs such as in copperlicht examples ?

Another question !, it's possible with iewebgl to use webgl in IE ... seems a special iecopperlicht.js have been created so do you will adapt your plugin for IE with iewebgl for less narrow use ?.

  • To give you a teaser about future Compan360 features look at this demos of the copperlight webgl engine => link

    Enjoy

  • To great news !

The first one, i have uploaded the last V2.0b version of Compan360 in dropbox => HERE

This version use the ext. SpriteUrl plugin and so don't use at all webgl. Compan360 is still fast and now load the 7.8mo panorama at runtime !. I have improved compass adding NE/SE/NW/SW to always have a direction on the screen. I remove the letterbox to full support scaling and fullscreen.

Please test it and report feedbacks !

The second news now, i speak to fast saying actually no 3D plugin exists in C2. The well known "Juantar" create a copperlicht3D C2 plugin which required webgl but support URL loading 3D scene ! ... Seems to be a new way to go with Compan360 !

    ENjoy

  • stemkoski Puck

Hi everybody, thanks for your support ! ... i actually work on a way to use external bitmaps in compan360 with the "SpriteURL" plugin. It's not so obvious to keep good perfs on almost every browsers and mobiles with big sprites instead of Tiledbg but i do a lot of tests with my future release of compan360 and C2 R92 ...

The 360? panorama of Ockley used is quite special ... it's a flat 360? horizontal bitmap ... every full 360? program i use give me sea sick when moving after 10 secs with the perpective effect on edges ! ... i don't think it was a good thing for a game engine !!!

But yes obviously the vertical axis can be used with no problem just need to find some good free examples, don't think moving 50px up/down in Ockley was really useful.

About spherical projection such as "little planet" etc ... it's possible ! ... some existing products ("pano(bip)") can export in html5 full 360? pre-build scene ... but no C2 plugin exist now helping doing that so it's actually not a priority for me ...
