  • Im not having any error of this type with the last stable construct release.

Windows 8 Pro, AMD 6990 HD here.

  • The game is cool, I?ve played few games like this (starting form "Doodle jump") and the graphics are nice too, but here is a very critical problem with the game (and I think I know where the problem is coming from): There is a problem with the jump. When you touch a platform, the character jumps suddenly to another Y position, wich is very strangre for the player.

I think this is hapenning because you have different animations for the player (standing up & Jumping), but they have the origin point setted up in different positions (look for it on the sprite?s animation window).

Fix that and the game will be much better.

  • Same here, I don't get the post reply notification but I get the new releases one

    Me too.

I?m sending you an e-mail, Tom.

    Thanks.

  • sirLobito: sorry, but my english is not very good, what do you mean by "sleves" ? I'll check that asap. Thanks!

Your english is not what is bad, it?s mine xD.

I spelled it wrong, sorry Gorgonzola, I meant "leaves", tree leaves, hehe.

  • When I was looking at it, I saw that most of the people (when designing a parabola for a game) create a false bullet.

A (future invisible) bullets that goes straight to the target, and the real bullets calculates the path to combining with its own speed, friction, ...

I cant help much more, sorry :/.

  • Ey JohnnySix

Some weeks ago I was wondering about something like that.

I searched the web and after some time analyzing different mathematic formulas and lots of martian things (to me) like those, I change my view of the problem and get a solution. I can?t give it directly to you, but I can tell you (cuz mine is a very concrete example and is not adaptable for other projects) the way of getting it (very basic but it works).

The base is use the "three rule" ("regla de tres" in spanish, I don?t know how to translate this :S).

Knowing the factors you may know (power, speed, or whatever) make test depending on your game resolutions, and once the bullets hits a static point, use the "three rule" to get a custom formula that works in your concrete game resolution (sorry for my bad english).

The idea is that: is the bullets hits a certain static (at first) target with your desired factors, extend it to make it works.

You cant see what I got some weeks ago (taken directly from the devlog):

  • thehen, I said at the begining but, I want to reiterate: this game is brilliant.

Not only the art is awesome, the mechanichs and some puzzles are simply from other planet.

Its a really nice game, and one of the finest projects done with construct2.

  • gorgonzola3000, I can only congrat you.

I love the art, its really impressive, and spherical movements gives the game a unique touch.

Allthough it was very (very) difficult at the start, but once you get it, its really enyojable.

One thing Id improve is to make it a little bit faster, or maybe, make it faster and faster as you pass through levels.

Other little detail is that, if you are on the left side of the screen, and jump to the right (or simply jump, doesnt mind), the sleves make a little strange effect too: they go up with the screen, wich is not totally logic. Its a really stupid small detail, but Im like this, Im only trying to help.

Anyway, for me, its one of the most amazing games made with construct2 till now. Good work!

  • Man not to keep reiterating but this game looks so awesome. Great Job SirLobito.

If all the reiterations would be like this one, I would be the hapiest man on the world (well, Igotta admit I'm not far now ;P).

It's wonderful to receive feedback like this, you make me work harder and harder, thanks for such words :).

  • Oh, jajajajajaja, I realised it now! Im so stupid xD!

I thought about that, but I focused to the system option "compare variable" and ignored the "compare two values" ones.

This has been a stupid question, but I was mired, sorry, and thanks man, very helpfull :).

  • Thats what Im trying and my first idea, but I cant find that option.

These are the options I have if I try to create a webstorage based conditional:

    <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7026907/webstorage.jpg" border="0" />

No option for comparing, only for checking. Thats why my first question.

I thinks Im missing something. Um.
