I'd like to mention Grandia for battle aspect that might inspired turn based system in Children of Light.

I learn that in many puzzle games the use of flood-fill is a common things. First you need to find out how to detect adjacent piece with same type.

I believe it's not too hard when you understand how to utilize loop. A Bullet usually move in one direction at certain angle. So a swarm of bullet spread from one point to point. Same principle with 'seeking bullet' too, only the angle of motion were updated each time.
I should make an example though, maybe tomorrow.

Well from what I can see that in disabled events the action little bit different but not big deal. You just can send your capx and I will investigate it for you.
