  • What could be going on? Could this be why when I had two conditions, On Key Pressed and something is visible, it wasn't working?

    Key Down works. But testing in Chrome, On Key Pressed doens't work. It's a simply On Key press go to Layout. But it doesn't work. On Key Pressed isn't doing anything. And no, its not on the keypad, so Numlock is not involved.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I won't be using Construct 3 if there isn't a built in Compiler.

    They're blaming my Project.

    "If it were the Project then why does a project that worked before not work now? It can't be the Project. Then please explain why code that worked before, without being modified at all whatsoever, doesn't work now. Something that before this happened. I didn't change ANYTHING. This the file that I restored, and did not modify. It used to work, and now it doesn't.

    Please explain that. The code is exactly the same. It worked before, and now it doesn't. So it cannot be the Project. Because if it were the Project, the one that was working would still be working, would it not?"

  • Yes, because Cocoon IO is broken. A Project that worked a month and a half ago, that I restored to test, isn't working. They're like, oh it's your Project. If that were the case it would still be working. It's not, which means it's Cocoon IO's fault and they're blaming my Project. When its their stuff that's fraked up.

  • Cocoon IO is completely useless, they're blaming my project. A project that worked before it broke though isn't working. I didn't change any code, but they're saying it's my project. If that was the case then something that worked before would be working.

    They're saying it's your Project. No, it's not. If it were my project then the one from before would be working. Code that I didn't change at all that worked before.

  • Andy over at Cocoon io is saying it still works with Construct 2 240 and up.

    He's saying that Cocoon io is working. idk whats wrong, it's still messed up with the black screen.

  • Here's that screen shot:

    https://pasteboard.co/cwyIPVzkb.png

  • Cocoon doesn't take the Browser object so i had to use Canvas+, cause my game has things that let open websites, at least for the EULA. Basically I had to use Canvas+ cause of the browser.

    But yea Andy is saying it's working with Construct 2, as in Construct 2's latest version. I sent them a screenshot of the messed up APK icons.

  • Now Andy is saying 240+ is okay with Cocoon IO.... omg.

    jance0405:

    What version of construct 2 are u using? if v240+ then you'll gonna have black screen because cocoon no longer support webgl2

    That's actually not right. I'm using the latest C2 version and I got no blackscreen.

    The issue you have has nothing to do with your project. Also on my end all developer app build crashes for android. However the normal build should work fine, at least it does on my end.

    Any idea why this is happening?

    Regards

    Andy

  • Sorry. that video didn't mention adding parameters to plugins. it keeps saying i need to add app_id. i read the docs thing but that didn't work.

    <plugin name="com.phonegap.plugins.example">

    <param name="APIKey" value="12345678" />

    <param name="APISecret" value="12345678" />

    </plugin>

  • I did this cause of what is said in the doc

    http://docs.phonegap.com/phonegap-build ... g/plugins/

    Under Plugin Paramaters.

    <plugin name="com.phonegap.plugins.example">

    <param name="APIKey" value="12345678" />

    <param name="APISecret" value="12345678" />

    </plugin>

    I put in APP_ID and the id number, and made sure the cranberry plugin name was correct but it said malformed config.xml. I just put in APP_ID and the id. I just had the one parameter using that as a model.

  • Sorry, I didn't see anything in the tutorial about adding Plugins. I also didn't see the Android target sdk in the tutorial either, sorry.

    3- Change your “android-targetSdkVersion” to 24 -> Optional

    4- For code Number 3 to work you need to add this code before your project id:

    1

    xmlns:android = "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"

    • For example, see down picture:

    Open full size image

    5 - Change your version from “1.0.0.0” to “1.0” -> Optional

    I didn't see the target sdk in the screenshots. Also how do you add plugins? i'm using Cordova's cranberry plugins. Like app id etc?

  • Thank you. I need to switch to Phonegap cause my game as WebGL effects and Cocoon io doesn't work with WebGL anymore:
