  • Here's the thing, let us be the judge, if the tool can do it, let us decide what's better for our games. It's an entirely different matter if the engine cannot do it, in this case, it looks like a browser conflict is preventing you from getting it done, as I said, fair enough.

    Indeed, thank you Ashley . It's good to know the informations behind these limitations.

    Based on that, I already made the case for this feature to some of the Chrome developers (making some of the same arguments people are giving here!), and you can star this bug to vote on the suggestion. Until then, there's not much we can do to actually support this.

    +1 star for that bug.

  • What are you tring to achieve by using that event? And btw, are you using Google Translate?

    Nobody wants to see what they can't use.

    I think it would be better to have a setting for that either in the editor or in the plugin itself. Since for beginners it might be a better idea to list all of their functions (with a warning) in case they forget to include the event sheet containing it.

    If I understood you correctly, the only thing you need to change is not setting the "Morte" variable to 0, but substracting 1 from it. Here's a picture.

  • Is this the place for C3 requests? Just wanted to put in my two cents: built in vector graphics support would be great. I know there are some plugins already, but it was one of the most obvious things missing for someone who for example worked with flash before: SVG file support, canvas/drawing support, tweening.

    It was said before a few times and it is a must have feature in my opinion. So +1 to your request. I really hope Scirra will include it.

  • I just made a quick test for you and you can't call functions that are not linked to your event sheet. For ex. if you have event sheet 'A' and 'B' and you are trying to call a function using an event in 'A' that is set on 'B' you won't be able to do that unless you include event sheet 'B' into 'A'. So you just see the list of all the functions when you are calling them but you can't use all of them.

    When is Construct 3 due for release...?

    There is no date known publicly, so I'd say what everybody says: Don't expect it any time soon. If you feel like you can use this software for good and enjoy working with it, then go for the personal license. As Usman Haq said before, you'll get a discount to upgrade to Construct 3 later on.

  • That's what I am trying to figure out. Can you please give me a screenshot of the event you used for Admob? There must be something in the event I am missing, maybe there is a possibility I wrote it wrong. Since I can't find the reason cranberrygame plugin wont work for me then I guess I'll try anything. XD

    I don't think that the problem will be in the Admob events since mine are simple as well.

  • Really its a lot of work when you could just build your game around "scale inner" or "scale outer" and that would prevent the black bars in the first place and remove the option to right click for a context menu.

    Yes, that's a way easier solution.
