  • It's ready, and takes almost 25 pages. I'll add some gifs and probably a video, and I'll have it corrected by a real english dude (I'm french, I did my best to write everything correctly but I suppose there's still some incomprehensible ******** somewhere) then I'll submit it.   • It is a system action called "Set Minimum Framerate".

    You set a number from 1-60 and if the framerate goes below that number the game goes into a "slow-motion" state,

    which is great for compensating collusion checks on low-end devices that usually cannot get up to solid 60 frames.

    How could I forget that such feature existed?

  • I think it's not possible due to a browser limitation. However you might want to give it a try with NW.js.

  • Are we still talking about TextBox object? Can't really figure out any project where you would want to have different formatting for various words in the input field . But anyway. No it is not possible to format only the part of the input text. You would have to do some hacks.

    Oh, it seems I mixed it up with the normal text object. Sorry for that.

  • You can customize it with CSS. Make it borderless and transparent, then put over any fancy sprite and you have your magic done.

    But can we set custom formatting for just parts of the text? Like making just one word bold or draw it with different color?

  • Use the Browser object's Request fullscreen action. Note however that this action must be used with an user input (like pressing a button or clicking on something). So, don't use it with events like "On start of layout".

  • I just happened to visit the website of the STEM Challange (http://www.stemchallenge.org/) and saw the game making resources page. I was surprised that there was no mention of C2 there (not even an image).

    I think that it can be a good promotion for Scirra if they register/submit their softwate to student challanges like this. Just like they are on the engine list here: http://www.g4cstudentchallenge.org/students

  • Right. So what are you saying? Hands up because "not can do"? Why all the other software have own exporters? Unity, Unreal Engine, Game Maker, Stencyl, GameSalad, Clickteam Fusion? Because they are so stupid that do extra work and build own exporters? Right. And I mean now iOS and Android exporters.

    They have bigger teams and more (sometimes way-more) expensive pricing.

    C2 - Apple = a less of bugs.

    I see what you are trying to say here, but it's not that simple. Go back to Jayjay 's post to see the layers involved with native export.

    I think so too. However I'd love to see Ashely's comment on this Vulkan thing. It's an interesting topic imo.
