  • Also remember that you are not allowed to make money from C2 unless you do have a license.

Yes he has - it is a .capx, just look at the header. The filename is 4.capx.

  • What version of C2?

    What OS?

    What GPU?

    Have you tried other browsers?

Need much more information in order to offer any reasonable help.

  • He has provided a download link to the .capx.

  • There is little help that can be offered, unfortunately. It is highly unlikely to be a C2 problem, as thousands of people would be reporting it.

The most likely culprit is drivers - either system or GPU.

Make sure your OS is fully patched, and that you have the latest GPU drivers.

Also try the latest beta of C2, just in case. Try to ensure it's a vanilla installation, i.e. uninstall any previous version, remove any remnants - folder and reg settings if you're comfortable doing it - then reboot and reinstall.

  • It's part of the System object.

System - Compare two values, then type an expression using any of the standard mathematical forms.

It's all in the manual: https://www.scirra.com/manual/78/expressions

  • Try Construct 3

  • This doesn't look like a post needing help - it seems more like a request for the full game.

There are many here who are more than willing to help, but what you are asking for is not a small matter.

    How far have you got?

Have you read the manual? Done any tutorials?

    Have you tried search?

It would help others to help you if you can show what you have so far.

  • Unfortunately, C2 is so easy to use that a beginner can very quickly make a simple game in no time. This leads to some having much bigger ideas without the expertise to accomplish them.

It's a simple case of unrealistic expectations, whereby the the vision of the user far and away exceeds their ability.

If they read the tutorials and blogs, look at well-structured examples (important) and test often, the mistakes that many run into could probably be avoided.

As with many of these type of programs, a programming background is not necessary, but is preferable to get the very best out of the engine.

    Surely the wrong section?

You are obviously not asking a 'How Do I' question.

  • For what?

  • I would advise reading the manual - it's all explained in there.

You get it by selecting 'Invert' from the right mouse, and therefore means invert the condition.

So if you have a condition that says 'If Right arrow is down' then inverting obviously means when right arrow is not down.

  • It's because you are checking for 'D is pressed' and 'A is pressed' when it should be 'D is down' and 'A is down' (Events 4 and 5).
