Problem Description

"Error Appcrash" to expand the mouse wheel also moves to reduce

It happens with any capx, I tested with example capx and fails

Description of Capx

Buy a new computer and took a month without being able to continue my project because I get the error. I updated the chart and still giving me the error

Steps to Reproduce Bug

• Open construct two
• Open random sample file
• Expand or darker layout and I get the error

The layout is expanding, also on the property bar layout I get black

There is little help that can be offered, unfortunately. It is highly unlikely to be a C2 problem, as thousands of people would be reporting it.

The most likely culprit is drivers - either system or GPU.

Make sure your OS is fully patched, and that you have the latest GPU drivers.

Also try the latest beta of C2, just in case. Try to ensure it's a vanilla installation, i.e. uninstall any previous version, remove any remnants - folder and reg settings if you're comfortable doing it - then reboot and reinstall.

Now try to uninstall construct 2, but from scratch guess not, because there is always something recorded on computer.

Can't reproduce: I opened a random sample file like your steps say, and it worked fine. However I don't know what you mean by "Expand or darker layout".

Most of the time, a crash when opening a layout is caused by buggy graphics drivers. Please check your drivers are up to date. You posted a picture of your OpenGL information, but that does not indicate whether the latest drivers are actually installed.

You could also try testing with r193 since r192 is not the latest beta any more.

First place to post is the Construct 2 'How Do I' section, or if you think you have found a bug in Construct 2 (which this type of report never is) then post a new bug report following all of the Bug Reporting Requirements.
