    Also, when you think about it, the limited number of events may actually be beneficial to plugin development.

    But then there may be some issues with quality control, and duplications.... plus a few other things later on.

  • Impossible? No, but you need a very, very, very good understanding of the math involved in order to pull it off.

    True, and then you'd have crappy copies of your art work running around.

  • Dev has dropped a bit, but you have to remember CC is open source, so there will always be some sort of interest in it, even if it is just by hobbyists.

  • Yes, but it would be relatively easy to go beyond 100 event's in a simple toy game. Plus Im not saying another license should be free.

  • Might consider something between the free/non commercial, and indie.

    That 100 events limit...kinda harsh.

    That'd be too easy for a malicious program to be made in Construct that sends them to dangerous sites. The unknowing user would blame Construct/Scirra.

    Edit: Assuming that an unknowing user would be one that does not have a moderately new version of DirectX 9.

    Given the hundreds of other malicious things someone could do that wouldn't be filtered by the antivirus?
